Has anyone been able to spawn this NM on our server yet? I traded 5 distilled waters to that thing and all I got was "the sprout is looking better." I did have to zone 1 time after trading and there were 2 other times when I lost fullscreen mode and was DCed. Does anyone know if this starts the process all over again? Each time I logged on or came back to the spot, if it had not been enough game-time it would not let me trade another water. Also, does anyone know if the ring is a 100% drop or if it's Rare/Ex or just Ex or neither? Can't really find any info on alla, mystery tour or somepage. :cry:
 
from what i've read try this:
1st trade: the day ur on at 19:00
2nd trade: next in-game day at 18:40
3rd trade: '' '' at 18:25
and so on until u get it (SHOULD only take 3 waters)

the trick is u trade it a little earlier than you did the preceeding day.
i have yet to try this though since im camping that damned Rose Garden >_<

Yeah I have done the earlier trade thing. First time it was about 1730. The second time was about 1530. The third was just after 1230 and the fourth was around 1200. Still nothing. I am assuming that you just have to stand there for 2 hours and not zone or anything.
 
well now reading again... it seems you D/Ced and zoned before u traded 3 consecutively w/o zoning/dcing.... no? so thats prolly the issue.
 
I've done it.

It took me 4 waters. One water per day, for four consecutive game days. As far as I know, it doesn't matter what time you trade the water at. Some days I traded earlier, some days later. I pretty much traded then went AFK until the next game day. It most likely resets if you zone or log out. Just pick a time when you're not doing anything, trade your water, go AFK and do something else, then come back an hour later and trade again.

I don't even have any use for the ring. I just did it to see the NM and see if it worked.

Edit: The ring is rare/ex, and I believe it is 100% drop.
 
-20hp, +10mp, +1 str. Don't remember level, believe all jobs can use it..
