K9. Ule. Range. Drops a lvl 65 neck with a "conserve mp" enchantment. 20 charges. whm/blm/smn/pup/sch. Saw him 10 minutes ago while helping someone learn Frightful Roar.
 
Droprate sucks, not worth the effort. Got the torque months ago off Snow Maiden and in less kills.

Purgatory Collar has a higher drop rate than Snow Maiden.


Father Frost is one of those, leave Snow Maiden up for so and so hours and Father will replace her.

I know the story behind the two, just saying that after killing them so many times (and Father Frost is considerably more difficult), it wound up dropping off of Snow Maiden for my group rather than Mr. Perma-icespikes. Not sure if it was some morbid stroke of luck or if the drop rate increase is minimal, but went 0/7 FF and 1/4 SM.

Well any drop has a chance of being completely random.

I know people 1/1 on Nue's fang whereas I'm 1/13. Maiden is supposed ti be 20-20% drop. I'd assume Frosty is around 25-30%

Isn't Assault jerkin supposed to be like 15-20%? Cuz I've seen one drop in over 30 kills of Ose.

Anyhow, if i wasn't working I'd hunt him down just for something to do. :wacko:

i've fought ose about 6-7 times, only twice I haven't seen that jerkin drop >_>;

of course i've been pretty lucky with nms

not trying to be an asshole but why can't people just use the ToD thread? we have a few of these threads occur which gives the false impression that the ToD thread isn't necessary.
 
I killed this running up for some mission/ENM,etc. Sat in my MH for months before I finally tossed it.

As glad as I am to have the collar, wish my BLM were high enough to make what little use there is out of it. That or they could make Conserve MP work for Blood Pacts...but that'd obviously never happen.

Stine and her sister were en route to party in Crawler's Nest last night, and they watched as someone zoned Demonic Tiphia. Freakin' zoned it from all the way down there >.>;

I didn't say it was smart, but there it was. Of course, there were a few other bees right along with it, but those all despawned once the player zoned. She asked me "will it aggro us, we just zoned in?" I said "don't risk it, get your ass outta there and go the other direction of its spawn area."
