Fav Moment and/or Character in any FF.

this is just a place for people to post the fav moments and /or characters in any FF and why they liked that part/char. also any good FF related jokes, spoofs, or any cool tid-bit could be posted here

well i guess i should say mine since i started this thread.

fav character is Cid Highwind from 7 cause he is the only guy i know that kicks but with a Floor Mop. second would be Worker 8 from Tatics when he kills the mustardo guy or what ever his name is and ramza is runin around yellin for a phoniex down........... good stuff
 
Final Fantasy 6 when Gau meets Sabin and Cyan for the first time, keeps calling Cyan "Mr. Thou", actually had me laughing there."

Final Fantasy 7, when Cloud had to crossdress for the Don, hilarious, Cid's intro and visiting his house, hilarious.
 
aeris was definitely my fav character...cuz shes hot!!!!!!! lol. i didnt kno she was gonna die, so i gave her my gf's name. my gf just happened to be there when she died...um...lets not go in to details on how she took that... well neways, i hope aeris is alive in the sequel movie thing

For some reason, the moments that give me the biggest goosebumps come straight from FF4.

* The "fight" of Paladin Cecil vs. Dark Knight Cecil.
* Rydia's return in the crystal-room battle against Golbez.
* The allied assault against the Giant of Bab-il.
* The last boss fight against Zeromus, with the space background and one of the best battle music songs to accompany it... right down to his memorable dying words. ^^

well then i need therapy. the ending of f7 was awesome. every1 is freaking out in the tunnel thinking they're all gonna die when the highwind appears and saves them all. then cid pulls the "Do Not Pull" lever and the airships turns into a jet. Then the mako stuff comes out and saves the world. WoOT! also the scene where Locke tells Celes in FF3 that he'll never abandon her and always be there is touching too. ff3 as a whole was an awesome game tho so i dont think i could just pick one favorite scene. But locke is definately my all time favorite character. Locke the Uber Thf. WoOT!

I think my Favorite Characters are Gau, "Chicken Wuss" Zell, %$@^& Barrent, and of course Wakka...

Favorite Moment.... Pulling Anima on any boss on the first turn, and then using Oblivion, with an Overkill.... so fun!!!!
 
Favorite Character:

Vivi: Final Fantasy IX. This guy is utterly awesome. He starts so innocent in the story, and pulls off the classic FF1 black mage (NOT WIZARD) to 3D perfection. As the game progresses, he turns out to be a very deep character indeed. But what does his face look like?

Favorite Moment:
============
FFVII: The final battle with Sephiroth; after the One Winged Angel fight. After Cloud falls down the pit and faces Sephiroth face-to-face with a full Limit Break meter. The first time I saw Omnislash was at the end, and I knew I had to play thru the game again and get that Limit Break before the end because it was just so damned cool!
 
i'm gonna go opposite on this post with my most saddest moment in FF series.
For thos who have been around for a long time with the FF series...think back to the US version of FF3.
Remember how you felt after the world ended and the female character threw herself over the cliff into the ocean to attempt suicide from lonleyness.
I have no idea what made me think of that...just had to let it out.

My favorite character in ANY FF would have to be Cid from FF7. Why? Why the #@!$ not?!? He's a bad-arse! I mean, look at 'im! He's like me but he smokes, and he uses spears, and he flies airships, and he hits stuff with mops... and... he loves his wife... and... umm... Okay, okay. I'm almost nothing like this guy. Although I do love my GF and enjoy cussin' every now and then. Sue me. English majors are allowed to "get crunk" every now and then... if not, we'll start making diamonds in our culos. Adios!
 
So many to choose from: Riku, Yuffie, Zidane, Cecil, and Tifa.
For the bad guys: Sephiroth and Kefka.
Favorite Summons: Odin and Bahamut.
Favorite Moment in FF series: Pulling off Knights of the Round 3 times in a row using Mimic in FFVII.
Worst moment in FF series: Getting punked by Uber lvl 60 chocobos in FF tactics.
 
Cloud, hands down. He was all tormented and stuff. He didn't even know that he was living someone else's life for almost the whole game. And you can't forget the Buster sword. Anyone with a sword that big has to be a badass. My favorite moment is when him and Tifa fall into the Lifestream while he's in that wheelchair. Wicked cool :twisted:
I feel I need to ask this: Did anyone every play Xenogears? I thought I was the only one for a long time lol

Update: No. No one ever played Xenogears but me lol
 
Mmmmm tough....
Favorite character: Its tuff between Cloud and Vivi but out of mage pride id have to say Vivi. He is my hero. I dont know, Zidane is pretty high up there too. Im am a suprisingly large fan of ff9.
Favorite moment: Tie between the philosophical conclusion of ff9 with death of Aeris at a close 2nd (not necessary fav but more memorable).
Favorite Summon: Odin from 7 rocks my socks. Yojimbo and Anima from 10 are also very good.
 
Mine would have to be Auron from X or Vincent from 7, because they are both kinda mysterious in a way. another favorite would be Sephiroth because he is the most badass villan i have ever seen in all the games.
 
I know he's not that popular but my fave is actually Squall from FF8. I love his attitude and damn he had nice hair!

Hmm fave moment is a little harder to figure out....I actually reall enjoyed the whole underwater love scene in FFX....I think that's just the chick in me finally emerging though @_@

That and the fact I actually really liked Yuna and it had been a really long time since I wanted the male lead to hook up with female lead....Probably not since Final Fantasy 6 with Locke and Celes...
 
Kefka... has got to be the most evil villain of them all, poisoning a city, backstabing his lord, and best of all... destroying the world, leaving you as the player to fix all of his misanthropy.

the best music in any of the FF games has also got to be Kefka's theme and the Doll scene in FFII
 
Man that question is impossible!! The games are all so intense....But ill try

Ok lets list the parts I really remember

When Tifa and Cloud have the intimate moment before the Final Dungeon
When I got Tifa on the date instead of Aeris...had to bust my ass for that one
First time I saw Knights of the Round...so worth the endless choc raising
Final Fantasy...old school...the winning music when everyone threw their hands up in joy
The little robot guy in FF2 for gameboy...he was so cool

Favorite Characters -
Male - Cloud - but he looked awesome in Kingdom Hearts though he is a wuss in that game :x
Female - Very tough - Id have to say....Rikku...i love her but damn Tifa is awesome too
Villain - Sephiroth of course...utter badass
Summon - Knights of the Round...sure it looks like crap now...but remember how awesome it looked graphically
Moment - The movie where Cloud hops on the bike....damn he is cool

Xenogears was the greatest console RPG ever published.


(Just realized I hadn't addressed the topic.)

Favorite character: Celes. The single most powerful character to ever grace FF discontinuity. Nothing wouldn't deal 9999 for her. (And she can sing opera.)

Greatest villain: Garland's revival in FFIX. Bringing back a guy from the original earns style points. Maybe not more than Sephiroth, but he at least deserves honorable mention.

Greatest moment: Getting a Pink Tail in FFIV. Actually, you would cry if you had to do it too.

Dumbest moment: Final boss of FFIX, after you defeat Kuja, and are stupefied to find another guy that's wholly uninvolved otherwise with the game.
