Come on whats your fav weapon for any or all jobs since i haven't started yet i have none but tell me whats yours and i do plan on starting soon ok
 
Great Axe. Every WS for GA can be useful in exp parties, whether you're debuffing with the Break-line of WS's or just killing shit with Sturmwind / Raging Rush.

1h sword & axe do have stunning WS's though, which comes in damn handy when soloing or doing quest fights.
 
Scythe... but not the zhangal or even the big bad black heavy ones.

The thin curved one is just so balanced it actually fits my character. When I wear the Greatsword i look like I'm playing baseball and when I wear a greataxe it looks.. to heavy.

The Scythe is just right. It has a smooth animation when I run too ^^d

As for right now, my weapon of choice is sexual innuendo..it seems to {Stun} my enemies and allow me the upper hand ;)
 
My favourite weapon is the terribly underrated Great Sword. I like the way the Fausser type swords look. Unfortunatly, I don't know anybody who uses them in XP parties, and I've never seen any weapon skills above Freezebite.

I originally leveled Dark Knight so I could wield those great swords with gusto, but alas... I let my Scythe skill slide and now my Dark Knight is a super gimp.

With the great sword, after spinning slash, drks become the best closer to the Light SC by far

My favorite weapon however is the axe... rampage is impossible to gauge =)

My favorite melee weapon would have to be my Joyeous.

I wish they made a Rune Sycthe so I could use one on SMN.../em drools

But until then, probably katars.
 
Great Katana by FAR. of course my being a sam forces me to have a bias, but i mean come on people! does ANY other weapon make the same sound a gk does when it hits? it honestly is its own reward. i KNOW i'm not the only sam on here that feels this way, or maybe it's those damn voices in my head again... :lol:
 
Favorite type of weapon, for usefulness: Probably Greatsword, for after 66 and Spinning Slash. Heard that it's really high damage, sadly, I've never seen it myself (1 level away...)

Favorite type of weapon, for looks: Probably Spear (or lance, or polearm, whichever you wanna call it). They're just so cool... although, I rarely see games that let me use a scythe, so I just had to go with that for this game (if it wasn't for scythes, I probably would have been a dragoon).

My favorite weapon to see tear something apart is hand to hand. Not the cesai or whatever type, they're boring. I like the clawed off hand to hand, like a wolverine. Such as Stun claws+1
 
I like my Cermet Lance+1. Looks badass.
