The Final Fantasy games are some of the best games on the market and have for as long as ive played them, have had a VERY large player base. And I was thinking to myself. "Out of all the FF games ive played, What were some of the most memorable moments in The FF games we all love?"

List your favorite, Most momorable, or funniest moment from any FF Games you've played before.

Most memorable : Aeris's Death >.< in FF7 ( sorry for the spoiler if you havent played it(( and if you havent played it shame on you)))

Favorite/Funniest: Aeris and Cloud's Date in Gold Saucer where they get to be in the Play

2nd Favorite/Funniest: The Opera Sequence from FF6 with Ultros, Setzer, Locke and Celes

My favorite was in FF7 too.

The final scene in Cosmo Canyon after the credits have rolled. Gives me chills every time for some reason.

From 4, it was the when I saw Zeromus for the first time.

From 6, it was the entire opera house part where you fight ultros and get setzer.

From 7, Cloud telling the story of Sephiroth Destroying Nibelhiem, where seph turns around and walks through the fire.

From 11, it was the Cutscene in the windurst missions where Ajido Marijido says "Damnitaru"

Hmm....

6. Finding that Ultros works at the colloseum in the World of Ruin
7. (none)
8. Squall eventually giving in to Rinoa throughout the game.
9. Arguments between Steiner and Zidane
10. Zanarkand at the beginning where it's all modern. It's a fantastic place.
11. My Taru WHM LS friend who was resting MP aggroed an undead skeleton who clobbed him around the head. The funny moment was his head tilted forward then snapped back in position as he got up.

One of my favorite moments from the series is in FF4, when the big statue/golem/whatever walks out of the tower and the dwarves roll up in their tanks and start firing at it. The stakes felt pretty high at that point.

When that guy wakes up from his surgery, and they lie to him and tell him the love of his life is dead. Then he's all like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". That was my favorite.

FFI: Job upgrades!
FFII: Finally getting Leon back, although for the last battles of the game
FFIII: Unlocking Sage and Ninja jobs
FFIV, Cecil turning PLD from the DRK-side
FFV, Meeting Gilgamesh for the first time, 1 of the most badass FF characters of all time
FFVI, Opera House scenario, and when Kefka destroys the WoB, also when Cyan flips out after he discovers his wife and child were poisoned at Doma by Kefka.
FFVII, Aeris death scene and the flashback of Clouds at Nibelheim
FFVIII, The whole setting up to kill Edea in Deling City, having that whole plan in place, then Irvine starts to chicken out, then when Edea blocks the shot and plan 2 goes in place, ending with Squall with an ice spear thru his shoulder
FFIX, Odin destroying Cleyra, and Bahamut and Alexander showdown in Alexandria, also Atomos attack on Alexandria, and the whole thing where Garnet chops off her hair, and on Terra where Zidane finds out what he actually is.
FFX, The whole ending scene with Tidus starting to fade away, and the last Seymour fight
FFX-2, Uh, none of the game
FFXI, End CoP CS's
FFXII, The whole game

VII: Aeris's Death, Sapphire Weapon gettin its head blasted off, The Play at Gold Saucer.

IX: all CSs that include Summon spells, Zidane vs. Steiner, The Various Faces of Regent Cid

FFXI: Me having to club Titan to death and managing to get off 2 Shining Strikes b4 he finally fell

FFI: Meeting Bahamut, King of the Dragons, and getting the job upgrades.
FFII: I actually haven't beat this one yet. Have it on my gameboy
FFIII: Haven't bought this one yet
FFIV: One of my favorites. Best friends, Kain and Cecil pinned against eachother and Rosa in the middle of it. I think the parts I remember of this game the most if the heroism of characters sacrificing themselves to help Cecil save the world.
FFV: After having all the jobs, realizing that for the most part it completely didn't matter what jobs you used. If you subbed white magic, you were in.
FFVI: Kefka's laugh, ftw. When he kills the emperor, poisons Doma, you name it. I love the fact that he actually destroys the world and leaves the World of Ruin. I love Locke's story in this too. I think, with Terra, they could have elaborated more and done more with her story. Or at least more with how she could have changed the world of ruin. More than the serrogate mother, half-esper, brainwashed mage/warrior. But that's me.
FFVII: The fires of Sephiroths rage, but more importantly Tifa's breasts.
FFVIII: Rinoa trapping herself in the chamber to protect the world, and Squall saving her.
FFIX: The ending was awesome in this, with the festival and all. Though, climatic point for me would be the Alexander-Bahamut showdown in Alexandria kingdom. I was hoping Steiner would back the eye-patch chick in the end too. I think he did. Hit that hard too
FFX: Yuna and tidus' fuckfest in the lake, and Tidus and gang saving Yuna from the wedding.
FFX-2: The ending, with tidus back.
FFXI: Spending time with friends. Though, Rank Mission 5-1 against the Lich. Everyone was dead and as a last ditch effort I casted Banishga 2 ftw. We set a record and all because we straight just went in to kill. lol and on top of that, I re-raised mid-battle too.
FFXII: I'm not too far into the game yet, just beat Judge Berghan. So far, I'm loving the game. I just haven't played much games lately.
FFTactics: The Chocobo Knights were awesome. Delita and the Main characters relationship throughout the game helped make that story for me.

Favorite moment: When that bitch got stabbed through the torso.
Other Favorite moment: All of FFIX.
Memorable: The overwhelming amount of glee I had when that bitch got stabbed through the torso.
Other memorable: Date with Barret. Infact, Barret. You crazy nigga.
Least Favorite Moment: Most of FFVIII.

VII: From the opening to the first time you see the world map, Aeris' death, the final battle sequence with Sephiroth.
VIII: The opening movie and pretty much the first half of the game... then it was all downhill from there.
IX: Most of the scenes with Steiner... you gotta love the big oaf.
X: Opening/Ending sequence. The first time you got Blitz Ace. Fully unlocking Tidus' weapon.
X-2: Shotgunning the disc. "Pull!".... BLAM! (okok, I liked the dress sphere change animations >.>)
XI: On our third wipe to Promyvion-Mea, Gregedor re-raising with 30 HP after everyone else had died (and died again after rr) and killing the Promyvion-Mea boss with what will forever be known as the 'Magic Arrow.'
XII: I'll get to it... eventually.

Complete agreement with that. I keep a save file for that spot so I can replay it.

FF X: the CS where Tidus and co jump off the airship to stop Yuna's wedding, then the CS that follows with Yuna jumping off the edge.
FF X 2: the opening is just sweet.

FFXI: Cop mission 6 and up. just when it got good.

For some odd reason i can't remember other FF games. I've played them i know i did, i have the save files.

FF1: The fight with the pirates for the boat.
FF2: Didn't beat it because it sucks - end of story.
FF3: Systematically eliminating Leviathan, Bahamut, and Odin.
FF4: Defeating Bahamut without Reflect
FF5: Haven't beaten it, farthest I got was a little bit after the burning ship.
FF6: The sequence about Gau's father.
FF7: Beating Emerald without Underwater, with 10 seconds remaining.
FF8: When it was finally over, because that meant no more nonsense.
FF9: When it was finally over, for the end sequence alone(Not the end movie, that was pretty lacking.)
FF10: Didn't play it.
FF11: Seeing Selh'teus using Luminous Lance for the first time.
FF12: Haven't played it
Tactics: Strangely having every enemy in one of the battles move directly under Ifrit's area of attack.
Tactics Advance: The fight where you have to run from Llednar for a few turns, having Marche as thief and stealing all his equipment in the process.

FFIV: When Cecil becomes a PLD.

FFVI: Locke regains his confidence and rejoins the party after having one last talk with Rachel.

FFIX: Steiner and Beatrix teaming up to defend the kingdom, what a pair.

FFXI: The whole DRG AF storyline, I really enjoyed it, had great music to it too.

FFT: When Ramza and Mustadio wake up Worker 8 and Mustadio gets knocked out and Ramza panics "where's the phoenix down!?"

FFTA: Judgemaster Cid decides to separate the judges and the palace and starts helping out your clan in his own way.

added one more still at work ..

FFIX: When you finally find all the treasure chests in ffiix and you fly to the sky.. and you click the thing and moogle says strange presence and you like ok.. and then you see ozma and get raped.. no i dont use guides so i didnt know what it was lol didnt save either =\, Amarant(that redhaired dude)

Final Fantasy Legend(published by square rereleased by sunsoft) When you fight god lol

FF1 - Don't remeber it well.
FF2 - Gave up half way through.
FF3 - Getting it for christmas ^^
FF4 - Cecil and the drk?
FF5 - Next pay cheque >.>
FF6 - Never even seen it before
FF7 - My first FF I played when I was 10. Was soo fucking Epic. I guess my favourite part about the game was discovering FF with my friends itself.
FF8 - Squall revealing his feelings (Classic romantic)
FF9 - The summon fight in Alexandria and Beatrix
FF10 - The Sphere grid and everything about the story.
FF11 - I hated it. Played for 2 years and got nothing done.
FF12 - Baltheir and Fran. Kind of disapointed me though. :/

I'm only 17, so unless I buy the oldschool games that are coming out on DS/GBA soon (which I will) I won't know. But I do know they are classics, and I do know FF is my favourite Role Playing series.

Top 3:

FF7
FF9
FF10

My most memorable moments came from IX and X, my favorites of the series :D

FFIX most memorable: lol the whole first hour of the game, me and Evanai played it 2 billion times when we were like 9ish, she didn't have a memory card and we couldn't kill the first freakin' tree boss. Memorized the whole hour, pretty much, lmao!!
But then when I matured (rofl) and I was able to play the game (and win) many years later, my most memorable moment would be on Terra after Garland messed Zidane all up and it played "You're Not Alone!" and then there were those three bosses which I hated >.> It was so eerie and sad !

FFX most memorable: When You get in Zanarkand with Yuna and its playing "Someday the Dream Will End." Fighting with that music on was just so....kickass. The wedding sequences also owned. and ANIMA yo

Least memorable moments:

FFVIII: wth is wrong with that game.

FFIV: I can't kill the stupid magnet troll thing (but I haven't tried in a few years...)

Yay games.

FFVII – The moment when Nanaki (my favorite character) realizes that his father died protecting his homeland. At that point the statue starts crying and Nanaki lets out a long, mournful howl. One of those moments when the game actually made me sad.

FVIII – The ending, when you finally see Squall & R-face kiss. I mean, when you deal with Squall’s moping for 40+ hours… he damn well better get the girl.

FFIX – Bahamut vs Alexander, hands down one of the coolest scenes in the entire game.

FFX – Saving Yuna from her wedding! That was a really cool scene.

FFXI – Almost all of the Burning Circle fights for missions, those were exciting.

FFXII – I really like the whole game, but the Gilgamesh battle tops the cake so far.
