The "lawnmower" scene in Dead Alive.

I forget, Jen, but is the "This one goes to 11" scene of Spinal Tap the same scene as the "Lick my Love Pump" scene.
If not, I'd like to recommend that for honorable mention.

Sneakster, best.scene.ever. The one where his mother eats her own ear isn't bad either. Nice catch.

Yes!! That woman is so wretched. ><

I disagree. Full Metal Jacket only the first half. :P

heh that rocks i just added that to my favs

- When the three are screaming at the top of the canyon in Garden State
- At the very end of Fight Club when the buildings all explode and my favorite song starts
- When the song starts and all the cast sings during Magnolia's end
- When Neo says "No." and the bullets stop and fall in Matrix

These are just a few that really made my day when I watch them.

The scene in ETERNAL SUNSHINE where Jim Carrey is his younger self hiding under the kitchen table from Kate Winslet

Too many to list but one of my favorites is in the Rookie when Dennis Quaid calls his wife and tells her and his son that he is going to be a Major League Baseball player.

Heh Firestreak. I will say that the Matrix had me hook, line, and sinker when Mr. Anderson awoke in a pod full of pink goo, hairless, and full of nodes. I just sat there like WTF?!!! this is sooooo cool! Then 2 and 3 went downhill but it was to be expected. After all the hype surrounding the first movie there was little doubt they could live up to it.

Good call though.

Anyone who can guess this movie deserves a free hot pocket.

Dawn of the Dead, one of my all-time favorite movies. It also has one of my all-time favorite movie scenes, when the zombies and bikers invade the mall and everything goes to hell.

Other favorite movie scenes:

Quint's U.S.S. Indianapolis speech in Jaws. Everything goes silent around me when he starts to speak. "I'll never put a lifejacket on again" gives me goosebumps.

The fight between The Bride and The Crazy 88 in Kill Bill Vol. 1.

"Get away from her, you BITCH!" in Aliens.

The ex-leper scene from The Life of Brian. "There's just no pleasing some people." "That's just what Jesus said, sir!"

The "Nobody can eat fifty eggs" scene from Cool Hand Luke.

The attack on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back thrills me every time.

That was a great scene Half, but I must argue the best scene of the movie is when the guy is dying in the backroom. Then you hear the commentators arguing on the television about what means are needed to fight the zombies. Then bam, you hear a gunshot. That was just a classic scene.

PS: Caption to the picture.

"The only person who could ever miss with this gun is the sucker with the bread to buy it."
omg best quote ever.

I agree with you about Roger's death being the best scene. The hopeless look on Fran's face when she says "It's really all over, isn't it?" makes me all tingly. It's just that I love watching the zombies invade at the end.

I'm George Romero's bitch.

I hate that they remade Dawn of the Dead >< it was stupid... the first one was cool but the effects never scared me XD the other one who's name escapes me... err... Night of the living Dead ^^ that freaked me out for nights on end
