I don't know if I can narrow this down. I'll write this and ten minutes later think "Aw shit, I should've mentioned this..."

The biggie is probably Mystery Science Theater 3000. I'm still watching them and getting cracked up to this day. Naturally, I'm devoted to the newer projects like Rifftrax, The Film Crew, and Cinematic Titanic.

Babylon 5, Deep Space Nine, and Battlestar Galactica still remain as high points for science fiction television. I like my shows to have ongoing plots and actual character development. I'm also devoted to Doctor Who -- both the Tom Baker years and the relaunch -- and Torchwood. The first season of Heroes was good, but I wouldn't have minded if they'd ended it there.

In the more straightforward drama category, I've recently fallen in love with The Wire. The first two seasons of Prison Break made for some good viewing, but it started getting silly in Season Three. Other favorites are Oz, The Shield, Picket Fences, Dexter, and House.

Animated series will keep us here all day, so I'll just mention Avatar: The Last Airbender, Robotech, Duckman, Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros., Batman: The Animated Series and Animaniacs.

In terms of pure nostalgia for the halcyon days of 80s horror series, Tales From the Dark Side, Monsters, Friday the 13th: The Series and Werewolf comes to mind. Those shows need to be released on DVD.

Easier-to-Digest List
1) Mystery Science Theater 3000
2) Babylon 5
3) Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
4) Doctor Who
5) Picket Fences

I'm not categorizing, but for the most part this is what I watch. I watch alot of TV, moreso than movies. I like the shorter run times.

I watch some Comedy Central, [adult swim], and Fox, as well as a ridculous amount of The History/Discovery Channel. The stuff I watch most on those two are Mythbusters, Survivorman, Modern Marvels, Lost Worlds, Ancient Discoveries, more nerd stuff, lots of random specials that I find interesting, and anything about space(The Universe kicks fuckin ass), drugs or drug enforcement. ...Some of my other favorite's are, Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, 24, House, Burn Notice, Monk, Wings, That 70's Show, Invader Zim, Beavis and Butthead, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, Robot Chicken ...but most importantly, South Park.
