Just did a test with earthen ward and it stayed on. Didn't take any dmg at all ^_^

This is the main reward, can also get the mochi, and nation choco stables teleport necks(10 charges) for killing the Mithra.

But the others you could solo, since buffs stay when you cap, you can ProV/ShellV/Stoneskin etc before you get cap. Also selbina milk regen helps.
And /WHM or WHM for Cure.
Edge of Death brings you to 1hp, you cant run outta range, so have a Cure ready, Aethereal Toxin is the AoE Dia, which you can run outta range.

Talk to moogle for wooden katana, go and get cap, attack these armors. When one dies a ??? is left, trade your wooden katana for a lotus katana to it(gotta be first to trade though(?)), then fight another and trade lotus katana to the ??? for Shinai(once again gotta be first person to trade)

Just got my Shinai, it sucks since there was a few people tryin to trade to ??? after the armor dies, I dread imagining this later when people get off work/out of school.

DO you only need to have it equipped when you summon the npc are are you stuck with a goofy katana if you wanna get the stat boost?

After killing the mithra, I got a federation stables scarf, teleports you to the chocobo stables in one of the towns.

If you have the Lotus Katana after killing the mithra you get a Shinai g.kt too. Pics in a sec...

Yeah you can get the Shinai and the choco stable teleport item(dependant on which nations controls the region you're in) from the mithra.

I got Shinai from Ubuginu(sp) the tarutaru Armor earlier, so was just waiting around to get the choco stables collar item. I'm pondering going to the other 2 nations to get those collars, but don't really feel up for it.
