thats what i ment. at the end of brood wars, right before that bitch of a final battle, there was a secret stage where Zeretule found stasis cells holding protos/zerg hybrids. we also found that duran wasnt what we thought at all. are they just gonna complety drop the story?
 
Thats right, I remember them hinting at a race of protoss and zerg combined. It's been to long since I've seen the story so I forget the exact details but that secret level you mentioned brought back that memory.

I've been waiting for a SCII for awhile myself. I too hope to see it someday.
 
A year or so ago, I remember reading an article on gamespot.com that Blizzard was thinking of making a World of Starcraft when World of Warcraft was a little more older. I can't find the article anymore though!

I also heard rumours of Starcraft 2 in the near future.

Universe of Starcraft. That could be interesting. Wonder what job types they could come up with would be.

hehe, true :P and Starcraft: Ghost, iirc, was supposed to be about a ghost woman who was working for the Confederacy (before SC1) :P but I would love a SC2 game. That'd be awesome. As said, they hinted at that proto/zerg combo and Duran being neither human nor zerg (or something like that). I believe the Xel'Naga are returning D:
 
Could be returning to make that perfect race after learning from it's mistakes, like toss being a failure and zerg turning on it.
 
Everyone knows that Zerg are just a copied race from the Warhammer 40k universe where they have existed as Tyranids for like 20yrs.

Protoss are Eldar, Terrans are Space Marines, and the Zerg are Tyranids.
 
Speaking of bnet games..Diablo 3 where?

I've been playing diablo 2 and there are people bitching that blizzard took a server away from diablo 2 and added it to WoW's servers ><; lol
