Fenrir Question

So I was just wondering what I have to do to get Fenrir. I know I have to fight all the Avatars again, but that's pretty much it. All of the SMN guides i've found are all either just about the lvl 20 fights, or where to solo smn, so here I am asking you for help.

Originaly, I had heard you had to be lvl 60 with SMN to get Fenrir, but seeing lvl 10 summoners with it made me question that. Then I had heard you have to be lvl 60 with any job, to fight/obtain Fenrir. Is that true?

I've been leveling SMN for the last few days and I want to keep doing so, but I'd like Fenrir also. My BLM is 54 now, do I have to take that to 60 so I can get Fenrir, or can I start re-fighting all the avatars now? Also, what is a working party set-up for these fights?

Fenrir

Your last avatar will most likely be Fenrir, and you will receive this avatar by collecting all the elemental 'whispers' key items from each of the advance high-level Protocrystal battles; Garuda, Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Titan and Leviathan. I say most likely, as you can actually defeat prime avatars and just keep the whispers instead of getting the avatar pact, and go straight on to defeat Fenrir. This is of course unlikely, but very much possible.

Do not return to the prime avatar reward giving NPCs if you wish to keep the whispers for Fenrir.

You will need to be of high-level for this avatar and cannot aquire this avatar or 'whispers' from the level twenty solo battles.

Earth Whisper = Titan
Water Whisper = Leviathan
Wind Whisper = Garuda
Fire Whisper = Ifrit
Lighening Whisper = Ramuh
Ice Whisper = Shiva
Bring the 'whispers' (key items) to Leepe-Hoppe and he will give you a 'Moon Bauble' (key item). This will allow you to go into Full Moon Fountain and battle with Fenrir Prime, if you win the battle you will obtain the Fenrir avatar.

If someone could just let me know what level i can start the high-level battles that would be awesome.

A decent party of 65+ can take the High-Level Primes. Most people do them with two or three level 75 jobs, or some even solo (RDMs & NINs, for example). Back in the day these used to be a giant huge deal, but now they're pretty weak, especially to a properly geared person.
