FF Comp requirement Q.

So I obtained an old comp that after fully updating FFXI says my comp isnt buff enough. I orderd an additional 512 ram and an actuall sound card of ebay because I figured the ram was the problem, it's only got 256 now, and well I had to jimmy the sound plug with tape to get it to work.

Its got a 1.7 amd proccesor, will that work?

Will the 768 be enough ram?

Anything else I should know about FF on pc's?

Should I spend anymore $ on this when I will be getting a 360 when ff comes out on that system?

Oh and I can't remember the vid card stuff, but my friend says its the same he has and ff run good on his pc, but why don't you tell me what you have so I have an idea.

FF11 doesnt req a high or even mid range pc. It will run.

So yeah, it'll most likely run at least halfway decently on low settings. Though even the biggest powerhouse PCs get bogged down somewhat when at full hnm camps or in dynamis, but I doubt you'll have to worry about those for a while if you're starting out. ^^;
