I know this is technichely not supposed to be in general discussion but w/e, this ensures people see it.


As of last night a DVD quality leak of advent children was leaked. As of 2 AM a script for said movie was released fully translated.

I am DLing something right now that I think is just the raw JPN with an english script in the folder but IMO it is worth the risk. Now I am sure some of you are either salivating at the mouth or going on how "Thats illegal" or "Screw Subbing". To those people... I am downloading it right now too over dc++.

This is no lie, atleast according to my good friend.
It was some sort of movie award. DVD quality with subs.... cant wait to see if its true.
 
just turn on Peer Guardian, or download the new DarkNet so they can't trace your IP if you wanan be safe :P

Personally, I dunno if I'm going to download it. I won't understand anything if it's in JP <.<;

I might download it if english subtitile is included, otherwise. no.
 
Isn't it against the rules to post 'free' downloads on here?
 
I am not posting a free DL, I am letting people know that fhe free DL is available and point ppl in the direction of a legitimate bit torrent tracker distributer.


Also I dled the Bien version, it is obviusly JPN audio but after much work getting the .sub files to work with the video, the subtiitles included are JPN... A real pitty I have to say but the real one should be out soon enough. Just gotta keep checking now.
 
You're probably downloading the version of the movie with Japanese subtitles. However if you know where to look, a completely English subtitle file already exists. I'll probably get around to watching this sometime in the next couple of days, no big rush. But the English file works, just checked a few minutes ago.
 
I found the english sub file, using virtua dub, any help in getting it to work properly would be real cool. Me I am WAY to impatient to wait for a unified one to be released.
 
freakin google wont turn up anything, could someone please MP the link with the torrent?
 
Here is the JPN version, I have a copy of the english subbs in .srt, but no idea how to effevtively insert the .srt file into the script, I realy screwed up my PC with virtua dub (at least 10 gigs is ful with I do not know what).

Edit again I figured it out, you need to put the .sub/.srt type file of the english version in the same folder you have the movie stored, and they need to have the EXACT same name. You then play em and bam english subtittles.

If I get introouble with the mods and they remove it just PM me and I will send the links to you... Now if I did not have a class with graded atendance in 5 minutes I could actualy watch it....
 
Get a media player that doesn't suck. VLC Media Player plays the movie w/ subtitles fine for me. And I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be posting that torrent link openly like this, I think there are rules against that.

gotta love VLC player, ive yet to find a file type it cant play. My only grievence is that when i try to scene select by moving the trackbar on a .ogm file, it gets all chopy/distorted for a few seconds.

God.. I watched it without subs. Havent been able to find english subs yet.
But wow... story, graphic, characters.... everything is perfect.

I have never spent 1 hour and 41 mins of my life for anything better than this. If I die tomorrow, I die happy lol :D

Thats a big problem with Torrents. You get assholes who use torrent programs that cap/eliminated uploading, so they just leech w/o seeding.

Looking at the torrent details of the torrent listed, 2/3s of the people aren't uploading.

c'mon now. anyone with a half decend isp should allow at least a little bit of uploading.

ill do my part tonight and leave this seeding at least overnight.
