1) How do you get SOS abilities on weapons to trigger?

2) Flare: is it worth it?

1) SOS is when you're in a low HP.

2) Yes. It makes killing stuff a bit easier, and it's non-elemental so it won't get resisted (of course it won't be doubled either).
 
How low is low? I had SOS Overdrive on Auron and i had him in yellow for awhile and it wouldnt take effect

edit: I can't get Anima atm so I'm checking to see if I got all the loot from the cloisters. I went to Djose, and there are guards that wont let me in, anyway to get by them?

As far as SOS Overdrive, if your thinking it fills up the guage when your low on health, I believe it only helps speed up the charge.

You can get into Djose probably later on in the game, once you get the airship you should be able to go to every temple without any problems, it's been awhile since I played FFX, just got the International version so I'm currently refreshing myself on some things..
 
I'm on the airship now, just raped Yunalesca a new vaginal hole. I'm pretty darn sure that I went to the right spot. Right is Djose and left is Moonflow. Anyway I'm heading to the mountains for a week so I'll check back then. So work on that puppy and see if you can figure it out! Thanks in advance.

edit: In the Baaj temple, I can light up 4 out of 6. The ones I can't are the third up on the left and middle on the right. Which I think are Bahamut on the left and Ixion on the right. Black and Yellow I think. Can anyone varify this?

edit: I got my Djose problem solved, I just needed a cutscene in Bevelle. Now I gotta find out how to get into the Bevelle Cloister I forget where it's at can I get that solved?

I'm pretty sure you can't get back into the Bevelle Cloister. Infact, after researching a little bit, you don't need to anyway, as you have to unlock that section to finish the temple.
 
You can't get back into Bevelle after exiting . . . something I've always found frustrating. Every time I play it, I try to get that box, but for some reason I can't get Tidus to move the damn pedestal to the left and push it over to the chaos sphere thing. I usually spend about 5-10 minutes of running at it from different angles before giving up.
 
If you go through Bevelle temple, it's unlocked for Anima purposes.
 
SOS overdrive not worth it im my opinion

Flare= Good, even better when you get Ultima since there is no real "hate" system in FFX aoes are wonderful. Flare is good but once you get 1mp cost and ultima you wont think about using it again

How do I get to Bevelle temple? Could you possibly tell me the best way to get there? Cause I can't for the life of me remember :(.

Gotta agree with Trippy. If you've got the airship and can use it as you please go start working on the Best Weapons and such. Most of them are pretty easy to get.
*nods* Start playing Blitzball too if you haven't already. With Wakka powered up and the World Champion (I believe that's the name of his Ultimate Weapon) completed, his Reels are some of the most powerful attacks in the game.
As for magic, once I really started to get around the grid with most people Black Magic became pretty useless IMO. Then again, after Yunalesca I pretty well stuck to Yuna, Rikku and Auron as my three people, not bothering to switch out too much. So if you use Lulu alot there could be a major difference compared to when I use it with Yuna/Rikku/Auron for fun. Still does considerable damage but not enough to warrant using it over a Break Damage Limit attack from one of them.

Macalania Woods somewhere if I remember correctly.

On another note, I really loved Blitzball and played it til I pretty well couldn't level up anymore without getting new players.. Am I the only one that loved it?
 
Bevelle temple can only be accessed once; upon completion you can never return. Therefore, you cannot avoid getting the trigger for the Anima side quest from it.
 
TY for the responses. I figured everything out, I forgot to get the besaid treasure lawl...

I am working on ultimate weapons and such. I have Yuna's (the easiest one), I can't win the damn 0:0.0 race for Tidus though so I switched to the monster arena for Auron.

Tag, you say Rikku is one of your main people? o.O my rikku deals no damage and is useless for everything but bribe.. :(

I hate blitzball, never liked it, don't know how to play it. I was talkin to my best buddy last night he said he might come over and show me the ropes for it, but anyway thanks for all your help, see ya around.

Depends on how much time you put into it. Rikku is the third strongest DD on my team, Khimari i pretty much neglected, Tidus I am having trouble getting his sun vigil and i can't learn venom tackle for his life.

Btw if you teach Yuna ultima you wont regret it she has a higher magic than Lulu so yeah she is the top magic dd and strongest dd.

Yuna>Auron>Wakka>Rikku>Tidus>Lulu>Khimari meh pt^^;
 
Took me a while to get Tidis, but yea start playing blitball. Once you get "Brother" the fastest player in the game Blitzball becomes extremely easy.
 
I'm trying to get the sigil for tidus, very hard my record is 8.4 seconds. FUCKIN BIRDS! In the JP version there is a cheat so the birds go through you :(.

Any tips?

My team is Yuna>Tidus>Auron>whoever else. Yuna can holy bitches in ultima caves for 30k+.
 
Its a proven theory that if you get all of the balloons and avoid almost every bird that you can get the 0.0 supposedly it gets easy after a few tries
 
No, I didn't say I use Rikku. My Rikku still does 99,999 with ease to non-armoured enemies, but she isn't part of my "main team".

And no, Yuna is by far NOT the strongest DD, not by a long shot. Not by a really fuckin' long shot. O_o
