I don't know if their are any astute observers yet who have played the previous games that were set in Ivalice but I was curious if anyone else saw any connection. Here is what I got so far

1.) Esper names = the monsters created from the zodiac stones in Final Fantasy tactics

2.) Riskbreaker title from clan Centurio, Ashley's job officially in Vagrant Story was Riskbreaker

3.) Genji armor you have to steal from a boss in FF tactics is the same name as the armor stolen from Elmdor in FF tactics

that is all i know of thus far, please feel free to contribute if you have seen anything else

From what I remember in tactics advanced, Mewt says he played Final Fantasy, and his dream world he created with the book was Ivalice. I think its easy to say that Mewt was playing FFXII.


One thing I thought was the same would be the judge system, but oh well

in my opinion, FFt is the best conncetion because the story is set in Ivilance and they are in the time of the airships but wheather it is DEEEEEP in the past or FAAAR in the future is unknown to me
