You can however get all the treasures in the tower, leave, then save. But once you fight that first boss, you're not going to be able to. Well, atleast I don't think you can. I never tried casting Teleport in the Darkness.

What idiot decided adding save points to the game would be a bad idea? ;/
 
It part of the old school vibe of FFIII, I'm glad they didn't change the basic game for the most part when they remade it, a lot of rpgs nowadays are too easy.

Having to redo the whole dungeon when a hard boss beats you isn't adding to the difficulty. Its adding to the annoying-ness -.-
 
Eh, don't get into DQ then, you can only save at churches in town, and lose half your gold on you when you do die.

And meh, I enjoy it, it adds more management skills/challenge, don't go too deep in or you're fucked, stay to the outer areas and lvl up.

I already played DQ 8 and loved it...for some reason I dont remember having saving troubles in it. Maybe I didnt die too much..

And I have over 100 hrs in DQ7 and havent beat it yet -.-
 
Lol yeah, DQ7 is a lengthy one, I think I put 200+ hours into it, but I do that in most rpgs I play >> And DQ8 was quite easy compared to previous DQs.
