ff7 remade?

Well III sales were phenomenal for the DS, I'm sure IV will be even better, so I'm sure V and VI will follow on DS.
I don't want them remade in next-gen graphics, I personally love the style of FFIII DS and from what I've seen of FFIV DS I'm liking that, and I'd love to see V and VI in that same style as well.
Plus there's just more profit to be made remaking them for DS.

Although if VII and onwards ever got remade I'd rather see them for PS3(or 360), I just don't dig the thought of the SNES era ones being remade in the next-gen, realistic graphics style.

I can totally agree, but I just don't want to buy 4 again. I liked the game, but not enough to spend another 30 dollars for it. V and VI on the other hand I probably would. WELL maybe not V. VI totally I would.

Heh yeah on one hand I don't want to have to buy IV again, it's my least favorite of the SNES/SFam era FF's. Already bought the original, the PSX port, and the GBA port, but I'm going to because I know I'll love it.
Plus the original FFIV had 75% of the original story cut out, SE has said they plan to incorporate much of what was cut into the DS version, so it'll be like playing a new game. Plus I just wanna play it in the FFIII DS graphics style lol.

As for V and VI, even though I've bought/played V for SFamicon(imported), the PSX port and GBA port; and the original VI(III), PSX port and GBA port, I didn't even hesitate about those.
I love V for the job system, and VI is my favorite of all time, so I'm waiting for the eventual announcement of those being remade for DS(probably after IV releases, or maybe at E3/TGS)

They'd just have to cut out the endless string of CG, oh darn huge loss. The actual, y'know, 3D graphics... would be just fine.
 
FFT is just a remake :P more so a port I think.. The Lion's War (at least I think that's the one you're talking about for PSP)
 
Yea that is FFT (original) for PSP. It looks slightly better and has new characters and all new animation! That one is on my buy list. ^^
 
I want to get Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology :D that looks fun.
 
all of the final fantasies are bad ass, ive played em all. some are better than others for sure, and the best, by far, is ff7. the graphics were uh yea.. but that really didn't matter...

the storyline on ff7 was simply unbelieveable and amazing to come up with. not saying others weren't but 7's storyine was just insanly amazing. all of the characters fit the story perfectly with sephiroth and cloud for sure. and to throw in vincent,cid,barret, the dog, the spy(cait sith), the little bitch ass thief yuffie, and the love situation with tifa and aeris.

i remember playing ff7 the first time and when aeris died;/ so sad lol

anyway, sony , square enix would fucking stupid as hell not to remake this game. people loved this game when it was on ps1. just imagine how many people would buy this shit on ps3. the graphics of course woud be awesome and maybe actually put some vocals in there would be tight.

i liked the way all the characters looked on advent children and watching that shit made me wanna see a remake so bad. i actually saw some teaser of the opening scene for ff7 like with the railroad or w/e online. i think they did it at e3 or w/e that events called...


when will they do this.... do it now!!!!!!!

yea they did but it was only a tech demo to show what they could do on PS3.
Nomura said himself that they aren't planning on remaking FF7 now. That leaves and opportunity in the far future or maybe close for a Remake. They do have alot of projects now that there working on plus they probably want to make Final Fantasy XIII really good so they're focusing on it more.

Nobou's not needed anymore for FF7 really.. lol the music's made.. no reason to add anymore or change it. The Music's solid. And since Nobou doesn't really work for SE anymore (freelancing and all) who knows. Granted he'll still know more than me :P but I could see a FF7 remake made without his work on it prolly.

Though in all likeliness I don't see FF7 being remade anytime soon (if at all).

Regardless of that, it's not impossible for it to be ported to it, from a hardware perspective.

Character models and environments in FF3DS were more complex than FF7s.

Media wise, it could be an issue, depending on compression.
