If Square gave a monkeys ass i might just do that. But we know they dont.

Guess what, If every single person suddenly decided to drive on the other side of the road, No one would give a fuck.

2nd statement answered first: Except for the people actually following the laws of this country. Because they would be dead. And that's a very poor analogy in general.

1st statemnt: This may not be as true as many may think, afterall, they have been using forums online to ask the playerbase's opinion on the upcoming chocobo racing system. How do we KNOW they don't give a "monkey's ass"? Have you tried complaining to them? Maybe with a follow-up to show you are serious about it? Or are you basing this simply on what others believe? They do care, they have to, we are their customers. Hell, if I'm not mistaken, some of the contents of various updates are a direct result of repeated complaints by players.

Your attitude reminds me of alot of Americans attitudes towards our government. (I admit I have had similar feelings myself) Don't like the way sopmething in your state is done? Right the senator or governer. Same goes for the country.

You basically use this illegal program because you don't want to be bothered with doing it the legit way. Anyway, it's late, I should get some sleep, lol.

Distance plug-in was cool when I had it. My current windower sucks though, I can't even SS text with it. Oh well I just like that [Alt]+[Tab] doesn't crash me, cause I do that without even thinking when I play on PC, and this game is the only one that I have for PC that crashes when you do that.

Know where they take thier sugjestions from NA? Zam. Zam I'd get drowned out by the people demanding another avatar, or some new and pointless Paladin ability.

Agreed. But those only associated with the cheaters shouldn't get punished equally. What the GM did was good, the LS got punished by being ripped away from the kill because they were associated with the cheaters. The cheaters themselves are in store for a much dire punishment. It seems fitting to me, that those that pal around with people that cheat get cockblocked on kills that the cheaters are doing their thing with, yet no actual punishment.

I agree as well but after a few wrist slaps, it should be the same punishments as the cheaters.

True. If anything, I think it was more of a screen space issue for PS2, left out for being nearly unnecessary.
TP, on the other hand: nuh-uh. I can pretty much guarantee other player's TP isn't visible to promote teamwork.
Distance: Absolutely a hack, presents information that isn't normally even accessable to a player.
Atually, Distance plugin doesn't give any type of advantage over any other player, unless ou want to argue that Xbox360 users have an advantage over other players. All it does is give you a wider view of the surrounding area, it doesn't draw the mobs themselves.

And TParty kind of is like a bot. However, it only shows you information that the server sends to you, and thus, is not detectable.

Currently on page 37 and reading <.<

Oh, and btw. Enkretia (sp?) is by far the best GM I've met. She/he have helped me in a lot of different cases. One of the few GM's that actually bother investigating stuff.

Drawdistance ( I'd use it if my PC could handle it ; ; ) gives no advantage, and only displays terrain farther, and not mobs. Makes it look prettier, and that's it.

DISTANCE on the other hand shows, as a numerical value, your distance to whatever you're targetting, using some sort of ingame measurement. It is information that is not meant to be accessable to any player, and is absolutely an advantage.

Not contradicting, I just think you're thinking of Draw distance plugin.

Um... it displays mobs for me. Maybe you need to get a better PC and try it out.

It shouldn't because the packets that tell your PC to draw mobs aren't sent to your PC until they're in a certain distance away from you. It has nothing to do with client performance.

However, packets giving mob position are sent. Maybe you should quit hacking to display mobs further away seeing as how drawdistance alone can't do that.

3A8E6C 4 bytes DrawDist1 Character and terrain features draw distance. Does not allow PCs/NPCs/Mobs to be seen past 50. Does allow some terrain feature deforms to occur past 50. Controls fogginess of NPC texturess at a distance.

3A8E7C 4 bytes DrawDist2 Landscape and large terrain features draw distance. Key objects draw distance.

Wrong, try again.
