sure, i prob do need help with gil when i only have about 4k ATM and cant get anymore cause no one needs 90% of the stuff i sell... but that was just for hate, but i havent gotten any yet..

No offense, but you should farm the stuff that people want, that's also usually the stuff that sells for a good amount. As to you not having an "awesome linkshell" just try asking whatever linkshell you're in for help or you can try making friends in the game like I said.

People that get help are polite when they ask. They don't just ask for gil or an item to sell. They are willing to be self-sufficient and go make some of their own money. They are grateful when helped and eagerly anticipate being able to reciprocate. Sound like you? No it doesn't.

Eh....I help most people, even if I hate them for whatever reason (gives me a chance to get to know them a little better, and god forbid it turns out they're a cool person afterall); believe it or not, it usually is based on personality and if the person is busy or not. If you wanna call bullcrap on them being busy, so be it, but there's no way you can prove that they don't have something scheduled in 30 minutes and don't have the time, or some other crap. Additionally, /sh's for help are indirect and alot of people suspect that if they don't help, someone else will, and that it's no biggie.

And hey, if you expect people are gonna roll over for you just because you ask, you're so very wrong. How you act in certain situations (i.e. your request for gil had a real "yeah whatever" mood to it - no one's gonna help if you don't even care if you even get help or not), and react in other situations (for example, this thread).
