First thing's first. The Anniversary Ring is freakin' sweet.

Secondly, if you talk to the moogle again, he'll ask if you want your prize now, or if you want to wait. My mule didn't wait and got a measly adventurer's certificate. Does anyone know what items you get for waiting?
 
A lonely night by yourself using your tears as lubricant. That's what happens to me if I wait too long to talk to women, at least. Probably the same as moogles.
 
The ring is definatly awesome, I got 996 exp off a single imp. Im pretty sure I can break 1k next time.

But about the question...no Im not sure if you wait.
 
Well, I got angelwing and some other item on other char yesterday, I forgot what, after choosing to wait one time, choosing to wait each time on main char until the last day.

As for that anniversary ring. I love it. Soloing flans on blm, I got 676 without first chain, then 800+ after first chain, almost 900 exp on chain 3. Got 4k exp in about 5-6 flans.
 
20k XP last night in two hours of a not-so-fun static. (Fighting Puks. Pinkubara died 3 times because of stupid mistakes and comrade lag.)
But damn. Thank you so much for this ring, SE. It'll help me in my fight to 75! (5k from 62 now.)
