FFXI dreams

I'll admit it, I've had dreams that involved elements of FFXI before, but they were kinda jumbled up and I didn't really remember them that well... however, the other night I had quite a clear one and I'm still a little creeped out by it.

I dreamed I was a taru (of course) and I had just passed into a new zone when I got aggro'ed by a skeleton. So, I take off running, heading towards the exit on the other side of the zone. As I was running, I ran past this massive galka in samurai artifact armour... and as I ran past, the galka aggro'ed on me too. So I was running through this narrow area where a zone should have been, but I just kept running and running and no zone, all the while this galka is beating the crap out of me... then I got to the zone, but it wouldn't let me pass through and I died.

So, I know some of you must have had FFXI dreams too... what were they? Share!
 
Oh man and you make fun of the rest of the LS for playing too much?

Very creepy dream though....I think you need to take a break :wink:
 
I have them just about every night.

I swear the second I start having dreams of any game I am just gonna stand up turn off the moniter walk to my window open it up to vent out the room i am in and head downstairs go out the front door and turn on the sprinklers and stand in the middle of my lawn until i am soaken head to toe then i will out the the local park and lay in the sand box then go back the sprinklers and rinse myself off and then sit on the front steps play fetch with my dog and then go for a drive and pick up camping supplies and go camping for 2 weeks just to set myself straight.
 
Haha Daroth! That was awesome! I think I feel the same way though - when I start dreaming about the game I'm going on vacation! :o

The thing is, Final Fantasy only enters my dreams when I haven't been playing for days on end. I haven't played more than half an hour in the last week, and I'm generally pretty sporadic like that... but those are the times when it pops up in my dreams. Maybe it's telling me to play more :P
 
Well then, I guess we will just have to set you down in front of some brainwashing videos to re-brainwash you and turn all that FF-brainwashing around wont we.

Nah the only horrible side effect i get from this game is some stress and when I am using MSN or AIM I will go to type and I will end up using one of the starter tags like /l hey whats up or /p Got any plans for tonight?
 
I'm okay being away from the game when I'm nowhere near a computer. The minute I enter a 10' radious of one i start getting the shakes! I'm getting nothing done on my comp since I unlocked the smn job and it sucks!

I know I know I am not a great speller either since I am a canadian but I will tidy this one up for you ""Radius"" :P there you go buddy ole pal. Some help from The Last Saskatchewanian!

Shhh...Hey I'm not dreaming about the game so hush! And I'll be the first to admit this game is addicting - you're the one who harps on the twins for playing too much! I'm still at the point where I'd rather go out/hang with RL friends then play the game. It's just when I'm bored and think i should draw or something else...Or maybe talk to all those ICQ friends and that little Play Online icon is tempting in the corner I kinda go nuts. But it's all in good fun! No more harping on the twins when you're dreaming about the game though! :D

OK I admit it.. I've had FFXI related dreams. But more along the lines of my Fiancee' meeting me at the moghouse door, as a butt nekked Mithra, after a hard HNM battle. Use your imagination... :wink: The thing is, if she is in bed with me those nights, she is in BIG trouble. I haven't heard any complaints :lol: :lol:
 
i once had a dream where i grew a tail 0.o then i went to go kill some rabbits, but i called them rarabs. and i was killing these "rabbits" when i found a musical instrument in my pocket 0.o, im a real muscian in real life, (i play whats called a bass clarinet, its not one of them wimpy little skinny ones, its a BIG!!!! clarinet with the shape of a saxophone with the gooseneck and the way the bell [bottom] goes down then curves upwards.) and i am just tuteing on my flute as some people would put it 0.o anyway.. so i start playing the instrument, but nothing happens 0.o so i continue to slash the "rabbit" that comes up to my knees with a sword 0.o (animal cruelty anyone) when this dude runs up to me, and im like "hi whats your name" (right after killing my "rabbit") and he points upwards 0.o

then i get mugged by a clown 0.o but i hit him with my sword but i think he drugged me, anyway....ifound myself at a BIG crystal, being greedy i tried to pick it up, but i couldnt :evil: my hand went right through. 0.o yes, i fell asleep when leveling my bard in sarutabaruta, BUT WHATS UP WITH THE CLOWN?!?!?!?

Say you need a really long break...infact we all do after hearing that.:: beggins to tampber with the quetzy server setting :: heh heh heh :: quetzy server explodes Daroth dies in the proccess ::
