FFXI Error & Xbox Live MTU Error. Hmmm.

I got them both the same night 2 weeks ago and I am still getting them today. Any clue whats going on? @.@

Are you getting the FFXI error on PC, and the same error on your live account? Or are they both on your xbox connecting?

If you're getting MTU errors on both your 360 and your PC, I'd have to take a guess and say that something is wrong with your router.

I tried not using a router on mine, but I have a main router in the master bedroom that may need to be switched. Is it possible to blow a router by having to much information downloading/uploading at once?

I'm not as computer savy.. >.> Tarus are good at magic though!

Call up your ISP's support, sometimes they require a different MTU setting, they may have done some recent upgrades and whatnot, causing you to have this error, I used to have to change mine every time I lost the setting on my old DSL line.

If yours isn't set to a value of 1500, try that if you can't get a number from your ISP, but odds are they have a number that they'll give you. Be sure to note what your original value was in the MTU section, just in case you have to revert back to it.
