FFXI graphics glitch (or something) in Cape Terrigan

I've had this for a while now but never really paid much attention to it. When I'm in Cape Terrigan I notice this blue line running across part of the screen when I've got the camera at a certain angle (around 45 degrees or so) as you can see in the 1st and 3rd pics. The 2nd and 4th pics are near ground level, and with no blue line. It also seems to only pop up on those cliff-like areas that you can see in the pics, and not anywhere else. I'm just wondering has anyone else encountered this? This has only happened in Terrigan, haven't noticed it anywhere else at all. :?

I've seen the exact same thing happen in Qufim, Buburimu, and Valkrum. No clue what causes it.

My guess is that it's water
You can see it in soem places in Jeuno too if you look in the right angle.
