FFXI Image Veiwer Fun

That is the buster sword, Cloud's first sword in FF7 nice pic man!!
 
You're right. That IS Cloud's famous Buster Sword from FF7.

But I can't help but wonder, is that REAL? Has that been placed secretly
into a patch? Or is that photoshopped or something?

Don't toy with me on this.

I remember the Buster Sword originally having two circular shaped slots
near the hilt... The two "Materia" slots... They seem to be rectangles now.

I'm making a guess... If this is real... IF it is...

It MIGHT be some kind of FFXI Event to Promote the release of FF7: Advent Children.

That's just a guess, though. Don't take it to heart.

Any other thoughts?
 
...The edges DO look kinda funny... Might be a fake...

I believe it is a reskin of one of the games existing sword or more likely, greatsword. you can find all sorts of reskins on hte internet, there are people in my linkshell even who have changed hairstyles and equipment looks to suit their tastes.

It's a fake .dat file he got from some JP site, I have the same file, if you want it PM me or IM me through AIM and I'll send it to you.
 
He just replaced the .dat for modified armors. My favorite source is here. Some are 18+ though and not work safe. Click the little orange pieces of paper in posts to download the files, not all pics have files available.

images are busted for me rones.

It looks cool but the buster sword is a 2 hander, so its kinda weird to see it with a shield O.o

unfortunately for me i r afeared of screwing too much with the game as occasionally windows burps at me about it as it is.
 
No, it only changes appearnce locally. This means SE can't detect it short of a complete file check scan (like when you look for corrupt files), nor do they really care about it although it is technically against the rules.
 
Funny, I found a flash on 4chan.org a long time ago that made it so when
Elvaan, Mithra, and Hume women had no equipment on... they litterally
had "nothing on"...

I wonder if that .DAT is there.
