FFXI Inspired comic: Final Fight XI

Figured i'd post the comic i'm hosting on my website. The comic was made (written, designed, put together etc) by Xean. While I was making the WP I posted earlier, I suggested that he try making a comic and sure enough he did. He created two full episodes which you can view here

Hopefully he'll be able to create an episode every week or two and i'll post them as he goes.

Ack!! How did I miss this?

It's cute, and very nice work putting the images together. If there was one focus for improvement I'd suggest, it might be the writing. There were a couple really, really good lines ("I think you forgot to equip your weapons..." LOL!), but the flow of the dialogue seemed disjointed and uneasy to follow compared to other comics I'm used to.

On the other hand, I wish I had the time/talent to put the images together like this, because I would have a field day writing comics just like it. Nice job, Xean!

It's still fictional to FFXI, since the characters are wearing high level armor sets even though they've only started the game. I did it just for looks and to distinguish their classes easily. The three main characters are actually new to the game, despite their armor sets.

I call it Final Fight XI because it is based in the world of FFXI, but it will be a different game: real-time and PvP focused, so the name would bear reasonable resemblance to the classic game Final Fight (loved that game). That part of the story will come along soon, but not yet in these first episodes.
