FFXI = Is done

It works for 500 hrs fine but just doesn't work when people are actually home and on weekends.Also they shove a maintainance up NA's ass at their peak time 80 % of the time. i mean wtf 1 p.m to 10 p.m est our time or usually its 4 p.m est to 10 thats so bullshit
 
i definatly agree with u on that one Sneezy. i dont have unlimited time to play this game, nor anthing else to turn to right now except hitting the refresh button and responding to threads ;_;... i wanna play...
 
Everything needs maintenance, that I understand.
The not reimbursing lost time like 9/10 MMOs out there do, I guess is sortof reasonable.

But they've had, and I speak lightly, an average of 10h of maintenance per week in the last month, at the very least. Hell, we just had a 10h+3h "emergency" maintenance last night. Good to know that they seem to care. But my question is, WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO DURING THAT TIME? They obviously failed to make lag/connections issues better (they're now daresay even worse), and I somehow don't buy the idea that it took them the original 10h to add the Pitchfork and send the fun of the Halloween event down in flames and nothing else.

*edit* Oh, right, "new hardware". What are they using now, Pentium IIs run on Windows ME?

Even tho my family could probably buy every qcdn member's FFXI account without breaking a sweat, I still dont say $12.95 is pocket change. You are just proving your ignorance towards the value of a dollar. People work hard every day to earn their money, and any money earned is not simply pocket change.

Look on the news and see how good we have it. One third of the world would kill to get $12.95.

Ya know what I get paid? $7.10 an hour. You know what I pay for rent? $310.00 a month. $100.00+ a month on food plus I'm going to University.

PS a SHIT load more than 1/3rd would kill for $12.95.

I'm in the game fine, but that's because I was logged in since this morning. I better not log out.. I think this whole weekend I'll stay logged in though to sell cookies and stuff while I'm at work.

Well I had been in fine for a good 5-6 hours and about 15-20 min about I got d/c and can't get back on. I was in a really good party to and had just leveled so this sucks. Oh well spend an hour on the computer being bored and try again...
 
I got kicked in the Den of Rancor while trying to get to ZM4. Fun.
