FFXI sound effects?

I am looking for sound effects from Final Fantasy XI (you prolly figured that out already!)
 
You can hear a bunch from the Altana Model Viewer (infact, nearly all of it, I think). You may need to record them though (from the sound speaker within your PC, not microphone).
 
Well depending on what sound effect you require.

If you require the sound effect for the weaponskill "Fast Blade" then you would load up Fast Blade and play the animation. While the animation is playing so will the sound effect.
 
tee hee, i understand that, i have altana viewer... but how can i record it?
 
If you use FFXImc, maximize the window and a button should be at the bottom. That lets you convert sounds from the game, although you'll have to know the number of the sfx if it's anything past Zilart.
