I forget the guys name from allakhazam who originally posted it, but I have since copied it to my website and am rehosting it..

Anyways, it's an excel sheet that is REALLY complete with spell descriptions, levels, costs, and how to get them.

I don't buy spells at the AH if I can help it!

Anyways, here is the document: ffxi spells excel sheet

That is a good piece of information. I am having a problem however. I wanted to get some of the Ninjitsu scrolls for my NIN, but I have not gained the proper amount of Tenshodo fame. I know that you can turn in Yag necklaces to Nanaa Mihgo in Windy for Tenshodo fame, I have done this numerous times. I have heard that the Zinc Ore one helped gain the fame quicker, but I do not know the NPC to talk to to get the quest, and where they are located.

What else besides doing these utterly repetetive quests could get me the appropriate fame, and also, what would the NPC in Norg say exactly, so that I would have the appropriate fame for Utsusemi: ichi for instance?

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Oh man.. sorry.. I don't know anything about norg or tenshodo fame...

Although I do have an update about those scrolls!!! Check AH prices too.. I got a couple DRK scrolls this past weekend and was very happy to win the lot for them thinking I was in for some CHING... seeing as the spells sell for 32 and 37k respectively at the stores..

Found at AH for 3k per. :(

yup i did tenshodo fame by yag necklaces 55 times hahhaha. o boy then I didnt even do the frickin quest.. its on my to do list lol

To get utusemi quest you eighther:

Hand 200 beads to Nana-Mihgo (Windrust Woods)
Hand 80 Ores to the guy in Bastork Port
Do the Smuggle quest 25 times (if you are caught...)

Speaking of Norg fame, anyone know how many Ores I have to give that prick in Bastok to get the quest for Levi?

bump... just thought I'd rejuvenate this thread... that link should work to the excel doc again.. it was gone for awhile.. I moved my web server and never thought about links pointing to this old spreadsheet.. it obviously hasn't been updated in a LONG time.. but it's probably still pretty accurate.
