FFXI Ultimate.....

Anyone picked this up for 360 yet? Just curious if you can install it to the HDD since i'm tired of playing for 2 days, wiping the HDD, reinstalling, updating, since every time it disconnects or freezes i get the awesome "disc unreadable" error.

Just ordered a 120GB HDD so hoping this new collection can be downloaded.

I really never figured out the point of this? I'm not criticizing anything, just wondering whats different from Vana collection 09?

I have it [VC09] for 360 and PC, and it has all of the expansions. WoTG is still the latest one, so why release a new collection?

Pretty sure this one has all 3 mini-expansions on it, too.

Isn't the ultimate collection like, 20 bucks? Considering the $10 entry free per mini-expansion, its totally worth it.

Exactly. This had to come out just after I bought all 3 add ons. And I only bought the add ons in early November.

Yeah, that's what happens. I'm amused at my local gamestop, still has a CoP expansion for the computer that retails for 19.99... Right next to WoTG for 19.99, and the Vana'diel collection for 19.99.

I was surfing on a game sales website and they were selling the FFXI Ultimate for 24.90 USD (That's fine since they brought it over from US and they are in HK) and they suggest that you buy the WoTG expansion to get $2 off the combined deal. hmy:
