FFXIV ARR: Log In Simulator

Sounds about right lol. I think I managed to log in... once? And then was promptly told by SE to log back out again, since they were taking the servers down for maintenance.
 
I was successful in logging in last night!! right as it was too late for me to play and I was too tired to anyways :( was tempted to stay logged in like all the others so I could play when I get home from work, but opted against being selfish :| guess I'll be punished for that one.

Thankfully I've only had this problem a few times. Mainly because I work at night and log in in the morning after I get home. Generally speaking, I get in without any problems and if I'm off the following night I stay logged in while I'm sleeping so I don't have to worry about 1017. Yes, I am an afk'er. Bite me. :D

I do log out if it's a night I've gotta work though. So I only AFK during my days off.

Level 37 Summoner at the moment.

Creepy, I do the exact same thing, I also work overnights lol, AND my SMN is 37....

What's that saying? Great minds.. something something something. Yeah.

Anywho, since that huge maintenance I have had zero problems logging in, even during peak hours, on Diabolos. Sadly, since they have lifted the creation restrictions Diabolos has finally seen the resurgence of Gil Sellers. They spam /shout in towns, they send you whispers, they even send you friend requests. Unless they are sending me free gil, I am reporting and /blisting them. /sigh

It was nice, Diabolos was actual quiet and there were or at least appeared to be no gil sellers until they reopened the character creation. Oh well.
 
I tried the asshole plan of staying logged in last night, woke up and was disconnected. Now its been click all morning, again, trying to get in. The lack of a Que system is bullshit.
 
I have also had zero probs logging in, I either get right in or the Queue is one or two players in line. As for the gil sellers, Same thing on Balmung. Blist is fillin up.
