I thought I would post these screenies of events that went down in FFXIV 1.0 before the game came to a close:

Spoiler:

They gave us relics to play with:

Spoiler:

White Mage: (Thyrus)

Bard: (Artemis Bow)

Black Mage: (Stardust Rod)

My Black Mage casted Freeze on the giant robot...

My Black Mage casted Burst on the giant robot...

My Black Mage casted Flare on the giant robot...

Spoiler:

Warrior: (Bravura)

Dragoon: (Gae Bolg)

Monk: (Sphairai)

Paladin: (Holy Shield & Curtana)

Wow, so did they give you epic ass armor too or did you actually have that stuff? The Dragoon armor looks badass and that first Black Mage pic looks like awesome armor.

They handed out relics when you rested in an inn after the data cutoff.

I'm working towards the BLM relic.

The armor I'm wearing in all my screenshots is my own. The green & "feathery" weapons are drops from Garuda. They were the only weapons 2nd to relics for some jobs.
