File error?

uhh k..

i get to the FFXI main menu, click select character.. then my comp crashes and gives me a blue screen saying: 'At13duag.dll is a non-page file running in a page area' or something alon the lines.. then at the bottoms says 'dumping physical memory: 1(up to 100, then restarts)'

happens with and with out windower... :wacko:

somone help me get my ffxi fix :banghead3:



when i searched my comp, this is all i came up with.

Upon futher poking around the files i found, they seem to be a file relating to (I THINK) direct 3D drawing for my ATI graphics card, which explains why when it tries to render my 3D character, it explodes...

K, problem fixed.. since HP and ATI are lame and no longer support my graphics card, the kind fella's at OmegaDrivers.net keep updating it. they rock. just saved me some monies!

I don't get it. Can someone explain it to me. Remember i know nothing about computers.

Edit: I downloaded the omega version for my ATI card but now instead of the 30 seconds of black screen i get a 2 second black screen then shots me back to PoL -.-

I get a similar problem to the OP, except mine just says an error has occurred and kicks me out of PoL right before I've logged in.

I've rang SE twice and each time they've suggested that I wait for the next maintenance (another one today ¬.¬). I've been lookin for the filecheck option in PoL, I couldn't find it, I ask today if the person at their customer service desk knows, she didn't... I like the way how PoL make their program so easy to navigate, ><
