Just wondering who here has played Final Fantasy III? (The real one, not VI) It's kinda rare, since you can currently only play the ROM, but it's a perfect "old-school" FF, closest to V. It has the job class system of V, a great story, (gotta remember, for the NES. It's kinda simple compared to the PS era Final Fantasies, but since when is simple a bad thing?) and AMAZING music, including one of my 4 favorite world map themes: III, IV, V (all worlds) and VI. (just Terra's theme though, the original map theme) If you haven't played this yet, I strongly urge you to pick it up.

It's supposed to be released on the DS sometime. First time it will ever have been released in NA.

I have played and beaten Final Fantasy III many times. Yeah the one for SNES, cause where I come from ,America, it was released as such. Final Fantasy VI is all in Japanese and it would be foolish for me to play it since I speak English. You should have specified that you meant finaru fantashi san, instead of Final Fantasy III.

Hey Dumbass! Guess what? I come from America too! And the official, non-emulated, copy I have says Final Fantasy VI! (yeah, it's not as good as the SNES version, but at least I own it) VI is NOT III, and I that's not what I asked. If you wanna be a jackass, go to the flameboard.
Or better yet, get the rom and patch the un-butchered translation. The Playstation version pissed me off with not only it's load times, but you didn't get to see the movies as you played.
