Anyone excited for this remake of FFIII as much as I am? It comes out in 9 days (Nov 14) and I was gonna buy it, but I spent all my money for FFXII. SO I guess I'll be getting it for Christmas

I saw the trailer and I was amazed, it looks so cool, reminds me a lot of FFIX for some reason.

Yea I'm stoked for this, but like you I can't afford it, plus I don't have a DS(yet), but I know I'm getting a DS and FF3 for Christmas, and FFV Advance.
Kinda glad I'm not getting either til then, FFXII will take my time up for another month if not more.

Hells yes! I'm going to get this and FFV lol damn too much FF this month.
>_______________________________< overload

Yeah, been holding out on getting FFV for when III comes out, no sense in making trips for two games so close to eachother.

I've played FFIII, and I was quite surprised to find that, atleast the trailers, were exactly like the game itself.

Although I don't know why I was expecting it to be any different, lol.

Who doesn't like Final Fantasy games with all the jobs?

:O Can't wait to use Dark Knight and Sage...

:O Man RDM Looks Sexeh.

:O

Whats this about the magic system being wierd? It's not using mp?

It's a "classic" style MP system, where casting a spell takes 1 charge and spells are divided into tiers which each have their own charges. FF1 had the same MP system.

And FFI is the shit, FFIII looks amazing too, wish this trifecta of FF didn't release so close together ;_; (FFXII, FFV Advance, FFIII DS)

The original FF1 had it. FF1 from Dawn of Souls opted for the now-normal MP system. You still had to buy spells though.

Ah ok, I have the PSX version and the GBA version for FF1. I hated that MP system, blegh. I hope there will be a way to increase how many spells you can cast in a tier. I hated having that limit on my tier 1 cure.

Wrong yet again. It ships today and stores will have it tomorrow.

Yea I'm looking forward to getting III tommorow, but it will take second fiddle to XII, but it's portable, so I can play it when out of the house, *cough* in the bathroom >> or whatnot ;o

Lol yeah whatever the shipping date is the release is always the day after...why they don't just say that on the store website ( Like Gamestop) always confuses. I mean it's mainly customers who go on there >__> employees already know... haha Guess I'll get it tomorrow, all paid and ready to play.:nyam:

I got it.
Try Target and if ya want me to spoil the first 2 crystals of the remake pm me lol.
Newark gets games on shipping date.

Edit...

WTF Ign gave the game a 7.8 when if you average out the score its an 8....
Even though so far the game does like 7-8ish.
Happy they kept Garuda in the game.
