Final Fantasy in your sleep?

I dreamt I got Taisaijin once. (Taisaijin is a confirmed NM that, to the best of my knowledge, nobody knows the spawn conditions or the true drop.)
The best part is that right as I killed it, before it dropped, I woke up. :/ I wanted to fall asleep again so I could see what the drop was, heh.

I try throwing 999999999 gil priced crap items like tarut cards at him to distract him but he keeps coming. I managed to vault the stair railing in lower jeuno and get away from him since he's limited to game physics and I can cheat, but he finally catches me and starts spamming trade windows at me. I knocked them aside and one of them hit mendi (the fame NPC) for infinite damage and reduced my jeuno fame to Noob. Then someone must hve called a GM or something because I got booted, woke up a little, jotted it down in my dream journal and went back to sleep. All in all, a fun night.

i had a dream once where i was a lvl 52 whm in full af O.o and using my dark staff to kill everything i came across and one of those things was kirin. So i was fighting kirin solo as a whm lvl 52 and i didn't loss XD then i woke up and said "WTF that was a fucking cool dream".
 
btw taisaijin is a NM hecteyes in ranguemont pass, supposedly drops some - stats rare/ex item and grants title: bye bye and taisai. He spawns once a game year where the taisai are in ranguemont. Supposedly drops spelunkers hat but since its not 100% and spawns so infrequently its anyones guess.

This a similar story from a regular on the Alla war forums. He's got a boatload of stories and they're all pretty hilarious.
 
Heh, one day I went on a FF spree and played FF5 for almost 12 hours.

Consequently that night i had an interesting dream. The dream itself was like a classic SNES FF game. All complete with little sprites runing around on a dungeon map opening treasure chests and also all the silly emotes we all know and love from those games.

The view was like i was playing the game, but also i was the main sprite running around.......... a little strange.

Thus the moral of the story is, dont play FF for 12 hours straight, it screws with your head.
 
I quited FFXI weeks ago and it's haunting me in my dreams!!!! :cry: :cry:

This happened to me too.

I had quit FFXI and about a week before the 3-month grace period ran out, I started having nightmares about the Shadow Lord (who I hadn't killed yet). It was the first time I'd left a video game's main plot unfinished, and I kept having these dreams where I was wandering Saruta or someplace and the Shadow Lord would show up and start attacking innocent people.

I also had some sort of weird .hack sign sense that maybe by starting the game, I'd created a version of the world that really would be abandoned if I didn't return to it.

In the end, I basically knew I had to come back and beat him. Long story short, I'm here for a damn good long time now.

And that, as they say, is that.
 
there was one dream i had where all i did was look at the AH and found a new catergory called Race Pets. so i bought two taru and made them fight to the death, pld vs nin tarus............ all i know is a drg taru showed up outta no where pwned the pld and nin, and then it changed its gear to full af and i ate it out of jellybean curiousty. ; ;

i then woke up.....apparently the night before i had binged on jelly bellys ....they intoxicaed my dreams!
