In an absurdly strange move, SE is releasing Final Fantasy IV on GBA this December 12th, in north america, published by Nintendo of America. Now the odd things are: where's the info on Final Fantasy III DS? and why is there only info for North America with no Japanese plans whatsoever announced? Only time will tell....

Claim how great it is all you want, it's current line up sucks so hard. Sales are extremely low vs. the DS. Sony horribly dropped the ball with it. Portable Gaming? Yeah... thats why majority of the UMD titles are movies, right? GG.
The PSP is a prime example of building up hype, then failing to deliver.

I don't know about you.. but I don't ever use my GBA or anything for that long :\ frankly.. I don't have the time. And when I do have that time I prefer to play a system or my PC or go out with friends. And, true, PSP does not have many games out.. but that's cause it's pretty damn new. Only a few months. GBA has been out for a few years and has like.. 10 good games.. the rest are childish and crappy as all nintendo games tend to be. (Remember.. this is my opinion). And the DS is nowhere better to the PSP other than the amount of time you can use it and if you can really use it that long.. you are doing a LOT of traveling with nothing else to do or lack other methods of entertainment x.x

As for the PSP... :shock: I think my friend bought it for Hot Shots Golf and after that.... it's collecting dust...She's not liking it too much... I'm not willing to spend that much money for something that probably won't be used more than a month. I could buy an mp3 player and a portable DVD player if I wanted to watch movies on the go AND not have to rebuy them.
However, you can argue until your fingers fall off if you want to cheer on Nintendo Vs. Sony.

fine.. be the nintendo fanboys you wanna be. They are pretty shitty in my opinion. They have so few good games over the years they've been around compared to Sony's products so that's why I don't prefer them.

I can provide solid evidence where Nintendo has solidly kicked the hell out of Sony in the Portable market.
And really, Sony's success in the console market has more to do with the the success of 3rd party developers like Square Enix, Konami and Capcom than it does with it's inhouse title development. Though granted it's 1st party titles have been pretty damn good, just few and far between.

well it's not like it's anything new... you all get offended when someone says "PSP > GBA" even though that's their own opinion. I gave my reasons why I like it more. You can like Nintendo all you want.. I find majority of their games bad and repetative on way too large a scale. X-Box is about the same. Though I recognize both have good games too and that their systems are well made. (GC actually technologically the best one out at the moment)
and Nintendo has beat the hell outta everyone in the portable market mostly because they've been in the portable market for a long time. Give PSP time to get better games out.. more will buy that. That was Sony's big mistake.. releasing the PSP with not enough of a game market for it. (good games) And DS isn't really that great.. it seemed like it was only made to counter the PSP.
