'Final Fantasy should come to Xbox 360', says Sakaguchi

From my perspective, Xbox was very easy to pass on and never consider buying. The only game I was interested in getting that was an Xbox exclusive was Elder Scrolls of Morrowind. I wonder why the hell it wasn't ported to PS2? Maybe needed a harddrive to run?

Gamecube sold me easy... I've always loved Nintendo since I was a 5 years old, it was 125 bucks and it had super smash bros melee.

You know... honestly, in all of PS2's glory, I don't think I ever thought it was cool thing to go around the internet bashing the Xbox. I really do wonder what satisfaction people get out of bashing the PS3. It's like you get personal satisfaction at the thought of a console you don't own doing poorly.

Personally I'm glad the 360 is doing well this generation, I am sure with all this competition Sony is going to be putting a lot more effort to make some great 1st and 2nd party games and to make PSN as good as possible... and it actually gives me an excuse to buy the thing once they stop exploding.

Xbox 1 sucked.

Yeah I don't bother with the whole console wars crap. I look at it as something to entertain all the fanboys. I usually end up gettin all three systems eventually and if something comes out that I want to play, I don't have to deal with the whole "not being able to get it because its for that system that I don't like and have nothing better to do than bash it for 90 some odd pages on a forum." They all have benifits and weaknesses. There is no perfect system as long as one system has something the other doesn't and vice versa. So far all I got is Wii but I'll eventually get 360 and ps3whenever some extra money rolls around.

Don't own by choice, and have played. Don't see what your point is since you don't own a 360 and feel you are able to comment on it.

It's an impossible position to explain why I picked the PS3 without citing my reason for not picking up the 360 when the two are in direct competition and fundamentally very similar. I don't go out making threads to bash the Xbox 360, xbox 360 fans bash the PS3 and so I explain why I didn't go for their system.

In terms of value, for all that you get for 600 bucks with the PS3, I think I make a pretty good case. In terms of library, it's a fairly stupid debate. If I own 7 games and enjoy all 7, then the lineup is good to me. If none of the games out there are fun to someone else, they shouldn't buy the system. It's not like a mathematical equation. Crackdown, Resistance, Wii sports.... each of those games are going to be a lot of fun for some people and boring for others. There's no absolute truth only matters of opinion. That being tied to the debate leads to endlessness and pointlessness of this debate.
