Exactly. Gifgarian(sp) had that ability he didn't seem broken. Put him in an end game battle like behemoths in deep dungeon and them blasted three headed hydras, I'm sure Gifgarian will fall quickly. Orlandu just had crazy strength and speed with that auto haste from excalibur.

What made Orlandu broken was that he could do all those skills, and took turns twice as fast as everyone else on the map.
 
What made Orlandu broken was that he was TG Cid.

And everyone knows... Cid always kicks ass.

Yeah, but he had that spell put on him by his wife. No quality Cid would stand by as that happened. They'd slap that bitch and tell her to get back to the kitchen.

Which is why 8's Cid failed as well. He had no spine. I mean, Headmaster Cid Kramer was kinda cool, considering his in-game face made him look like Robin Williams. But outside of that, he was [biff]chicken[/biff].

Anyone telling her to get back in the kitchen is likely to find themselves banished to some outer dimension. She stopped a bullet in mid-flight during an assassination attempt, so she's certainly not going to put up with Cid's shit.

This Tactics remake needs to get on the shelves soon. I need a nice portable tactics game.
 
There's so many games that need to come out so I can play them now :P *coughSPORE!cough*

Quality Cid's just take the bullets, and can survive explosions and cave ins.

I don't know so much about the two turns thing. All of my characters had excalibers and moved as fast as Cid almost, but he still owned everyone. It was access to all those skills and his strength with them.

Ok, yeah, his speed advantage is negated if you duplicate exalibers, lol.
