Final Fantasy Tactics

I wish PSPs didn't cost so much. I would definitely play the hell out of this game all over again with the new jobs and characters added. If it does get ported to console that would be awesome. But it seems to me this is just SE's attempt to make people buy more PSPs.

Well, PSP does have a lot of fun games on it :P more than people do care to admit. Movies and MP3 player function nice to have. I don't see why people complain about it. Battery being bad still seems bull to me. I've kept it off the charger so much and yet it still works for a long time XD the only thing is if I'm right in the sun than that's bad, but if it's sunny out and I'm outside where the PSP is hard to see, I'm usually doing something out there anyways. Ah well *shrugs* there will prolly be a rom one day. I know there are emulators for the PSP being made. It's only a matter of time.

I don't really have anything against the PSP. I have just never liked portable systems in general. Gameboy, Game Gear, DS, PSP, etc... I just don't like to play games on little screens. If I go out somewhere and need to burn some time there are other things I would rather do. When I play a game I would just rather it be on larger screen.

Understandable :P my PSP, I play games sometimes, but I use it a bit more for an MP3 player. Every now and then will download movie onto it. Specially if I'm going on a long plane ride. It's awesome for trips.

What? I never came across a point in the game where a blocked view was a problem. Map rotation and panning was always enough if the need arised.

Reread my post please. Think about it for a moment. And then make a new response. Hint: it wasn't a problem; it was an annoyance.

In fact, fuck it. When was the last time any of you have any played the game? I just beat it for about the fifth time last month.

Its already out in the EU. I got a PSP just for this, Crisis Core, and the imports of FFI and FFII.

FFT is great on the PSP. It has voice acting in the cel shaded cut scenes!

I have a copy reserved and can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. I busted my ass to finish Jeanne d'Arc over the weekend so I could play FFT without guilt. Heh.

I can't wait to pick this up. The Dark knight class is gonna be a harder one to unlock lol.

I still need to finish Jeanne D'arc. I still have aways to go I think.

mara watch out. i'm going to reclaim my psp soon for this.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh >___< I forgot about this
NOooooooooooooooooooooo lol

Going to see if I can find it tomorrow. checking online and most stores are cleaned out -_-.

Too bad FFT doesn't have Mystic Knight, they shoulda added that instead of Dark or Onion Knights >> Guess everything can't be perfect.
But yeah, I need to pick this up, and JDA as well..which has been out a while, plus FFXII: RW for DS comes out next month... and I just picked up Phantom Hourglass within the past week lol

Edit: Nice avatar, Minwu>everybody in FFII... gd it now I wanna play that again >>

I got my copy yesterday, and so far the complaints about slowdown have been overblown. It's there, but it's certainly not the gamebreaking ordeal that it's been made out to be; if you've never played the original, you probably won't be bothered by it at all. Then again, I'm only on the first few fights. We'll see how it is later when I get some real abilities.

Good port, though. The new translation throws me off on some of the ability names (i.e "Mettle" instead of "Guts"), but it's top-notch.

I heard they fixed the Genji Armor glitch (that is, in the JP version they were supposedly not stealable) =\

I miss FFT. Wonder where my copy is...

Anyone knows if the treasure data is the same as the original version?

Example: X:0 Y:0---- Dagger or Potion

I can't believe i forgot to buy this on my day off. oh well looks like im going to have to try and slip off to EB during my lunch break...

Yea when you do abilities, the animation is very slow compared to the other FFT, it sucks in that part.
