Final Fantasy VII on PSN

Just bought it, I saw Halif's post about it being released so I took a look and got all giddy because my strategy guide is in perfect condition lol =D.

One thing though, since they've put it on PSN for 10 bucks do you think they'll seriously re-make it?
 
question, FFVII on PSN has anything new in it? Or is it the same old shit?

Either way, I might buy it. I've long since lost my CD's.

it's just like a port...I've not got too far into it but I think it's the same old game...but at 10 bucks I really think it's worth it =D
 
I started playing ffvii again like a week before it was announced they were releasing in on the PSN. I still have my discs, but it looked like absolute balls on my giant tv. The game looks considerably better on the small PSP screen.

I'd rather have it on my PSP anyway...simply coz the smaller screen does ease your eyes lol...
 
I bought it the evening it went up on PSN and got addicted all over again. I hit the third disc over the weekend, so now I'm just breeding chocobos and wrapping up the side quests. It's probably been ten years since I last played it. I'll probably fight the Weapons this time.

I doubt it's destined for a remake, but you never know. Maybe they'll use this as a way of checking the interest. Then again, they're about to release the original PS1 Final Fantasy Tactics to PSN soon, and they've already put a remake on the PSP. Nobody can predict what goes on in the heads at Square Enix.

Now they just need to put Final Fantasy 8 on PSN.

Yeah but porting it to the PSN must have some indication...Personally I like the crappy graphics...it's part of what made FF7 one of the best RPG's I've played.

an 8 port would be awesome too...I have the guides up till 9 with me in amazing condition lol...I think my 10 one is at my friends house in England hahaha ; ;
 
I'd like to see a FF7 remake just have consistent character models. One scene they look like Lego blocks, another they look like their in-battle versions. It's all over the map. Make it look like Crisis Core and you'll have legions of gamers lining up to spend their money.

I'd also like a remake that made Cloud and Barret's date at the Golden Saucer a little more like an actual date, ha-ha. Give me that option, Square Enix. Give me that option.

I'd say the rest of the Final Fantasy games -- and Xenogears -- are a foregone conclusion. The only question is how long they'll drag out our torment. FF7 sold 100,000 copies in the first two weeks, so I'm sure they'll be more than happy to pump out the other ones.
 
the one thing is...If they remake it...a lot of people are gonna be a smidge pissed (myself included) sure it's only 10 bucks...but that 10 bucks gotta gone into HD version of the game.
 
People will bitch, but people always bitch. They're bitching now that it's $10 and not $5.99. You can't please everyone, and you shouldn't try.

Hell, I paid $10 and I still have the discs. I'm not going to complain.

I guess, but I don't have the discs or a working PSOne, yay moving countries! so I got kinda screwed with that lol.

Lol I bought a psp just to play this game portably :p My friend said that I've raped through this game..took me a week to get to the end, but I've been trying to get a gold chocobo and other sidequests etc..it's so much fun!

Never before have I been able to play my favorite game while in the bathroom or in the car..it's awesome!
 
I just got to the market...this is probably the funniest part of the game...
