Was this newly released? I saw it yesterday and thought I'd been missing out ;x

The music is awesome.

And I like how theres a quote from shakespeare...lol
 
That was beautiful. It gives me a FFVII feeling. Why the Versus?
 
Cause it's 1 of the spinoffs of FFXIII, not the actual XIII, and they chose the subtitle Versus, for some reason
 
The main character looks pretty cool. I like anti-heroes, hopefully hes less emo and more badass though. Like the Punisher, Marv from Sin City, or Jack Bauer haha.
 
The subtitle isn't supposed to mean versus in the traditional sense.

Its taking the meaning from latin in which it supposedly means "to change direction."
 
Versus could be latin XD though that means it could mean several things (depending the form)
 
the guy whos directing the game said it means "to change direction" in some gamespot interview.
 
I don't think he's going to be "emo" at all. "Emo's" tend to exagerrate whatever it is they're whining about, and is usually over small things. This being a Final Fantasy, I'm pretty sure this guy would have a reason to be somewhat depressed. I don't know, an entire world on the brink of annihilation, and entire world against him (literally), he might even be preparing to destroy the world (aka the villain?) who knows. I doubt it's because he thinks he's 'alone'. He looked more like the 'bored badass' type to me.

Edit: Watched it a second time. Scratch the 'bored badass'. He looks like the contemplative guy who's about to do something important, and is determined to do it. I didn't see any "emo" at all. What is giving you guys the impression of emotional instability here? Seriously, I want to know. lol

People tend to associate loneliness to emo. I agree with you. Emo? Not so much. Badass? Hell yes.

I dunno, but there was a movie called 'Versus' that was released in 2000>_>

Delt with guns, swords, zombies with swords, zombies with guns, 500 year old zombie gods and stuff.

hehe, ya, his eyes look really sad and he does seem lonely. I can't wait for it :P I will have to have a PS3 by them (prolly will for MGS 4..).
 
Hopefully you'll also have a PS3 for FFXIII first :P

I dunno how I'm gonna get myself to spend that much money, especially when I havent been too into video games lately.
 
well if I get the job I've applied for, I should at least get that much money soon enough :P (I don't really pay for anything else XD)
 
My parents dont let me work and then never let me spend that much money...its a pain...
 
I wish I could find out the lyrics for the song in the teaser.. sounds like latin but I'm not sure x.x
 
FINALY!!! Been waiting for a non...fruity... main charachter for awhile now.
