Well, most probably already know by now that Final Fantasy XIV Collector's Edition has launched worldwide. There's several changes in the retail version of the game, we'll outline two of them below. We're going to be covering more in-depth details at a later time. Also, if you need some help, check out our Tutorials (or submit your own!)

Hardware Mouse Cursor Support
As promised, there's now hardware mouse cursor support. When I installed the retail version of Final Fantasy XIV and downloaded the ~400mb patch, it was enabled by default. Some sources claim it's not, but I'd go with the fact that for me it was enabled by default.
Modified Welcome Screen
The screen you see after you've logged in now look a bit different.
