It's nice to see a church in the news that isn't preaching hate even if it's only for the married couples. XD

I wish I could find that in the bible. lol

It is in the Bible.

I can't quote it because I can't remember exactly but the context of it is that intimacy (read: sex) is extremely important in the relationship. It even goes as far to say that a relationship will crumble and can never be complete without a healthy sex life.

Now, I don't know if sex every day is even healthy for your physical life, but it certainly isn't a unspeakable crime against God or anything.

I can't quote scripture but you're probably right. Probably not in those exact words but somewhere in the mention of the sacrament of marriage. :)

Tristam, we're not moving to Tampa. :P We can practice this here.

Wow, never thought I'd say this about a Bible, but that's kind of creepy. <3's

I'm actually really ashamed and fearful of my eternal soul for having written it ><

Sex every day is healthy for your physical well-being. Its both a stress relief, a temporary pain killer, anti-depressant, and a fun and, albeit somewhat slow, way of losing weight.

As long as sex doesn't interfere with the rest of your life, such as not going to work or skipping school, there is no proved negative side effects of having a healthy sex life, even if its every day. Quite the opposite. Other then the ones mentioned above, it also increases trust among the people and strengthens the relationship. It is quite true that most relationships will crumble without a healthy sex life.

Haha, at first, I thought it was my church. Mine says pretty much the same thing. Lifepoint Church :) ~ Tristam knows he wants to move to Tampa so I can bug him and go AFK in RL while I give him rides around town while giving a tour.

Gives a slightly different interpretive reading of:

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Thy rod and thy staff comfort me..."

lmao....

OT: I don't think I've ever been in a church that didn't believe marital sex was awesome. The only ones that might say all sex is bad are those southern Baptists...them some crazy motherfuckers.

EDIT: I don't think I got across just how insane those people really are. I mean, EVERY southern baptist I've ever met has been bat-shit insane, and a total and complete stuck up self-righteous holier-than-thou asshole. Seriously, southern baptist church = bad idea if you still possess both hemispheres of your brain. Just ask Halif, he'll go on all day about those guys.

lol Helius, I'd be afraid you'd start screaming at the other drivers because they can't hear you or something ;-)

That's the Biblical tradition in which I was raised, so I probably could hold forth for hours, but I'd be hard-pressed to think of a single time I've heard them condemn sex between marital partners. In fact, some of the churches I've been in take the admonishment that it's "better to marry than to burn" seriously. Basically, if you can't keep it in your pants, at least get married to save your soul because God doesn't care how many times you're having sex as long as it's with your spouse. So Southern Baptists would also likely say:

Then again, they're probably too busy obsessing about who everyone else is fucking.
