Well it's been 4 months since I last posted on the PC I was building. Of course it's taken me 4 months to save up for every piece (damn you college, damn you!)

Anyway, I put the bad boy together yesterday.

So my specs are:

Intel Core 2 duo, E6750-2.66ghz-- (ive sinced OC it to 3.2)
4gb OCZ DDR2 800 (having a problem getting the timing to 4-4-4-12, right now its 5-5-5-15)
MSI Geforce 8800GT 512-- (OC from 600mhz to 700mhz)
Gigabyte P35 DS3L --(easiest mobo i've ever worked with)
Antec 900 case --(3x 120 mm fans, one 200mm fan, and 3 more slots for more)
Rosewill PSU 600W (not a big name brand, but this one had great rankings)
Vista x64 (I love vista, honestly i dont see how people bash it, also x64 allows for 3gb+)

Anyway, after about an hour of tweaking. I found Overclocking to be quite simple on my Mobo. I could easily go over 3.2 ghz and still run cool, but I don't need to. I running my cpu voltage at 1.28, which is pretty low, but stable, so heat is pretty low. After playing The Witcher on 1680x1050 on maxxed out settings at 100FPS for 2 hours, my CPU temp never went over 35c and the system didnt go over 44c.

My memory could go down to 5-5-5-15, but would always restart if I tried 4-4-4-12. Could be my voltage is too low for memory? Guess i need to try 2.1v for that? I haven't tried it yet.

Well anyway overall im happy. Everygame i've attempted so far, i can play on max settings and max resolution at a very high FPS.

32b supports 4gb. Vista just uses it in a weird way.

Nice, how much did it cost in total?

I had to buy everything from scratch. Monitor (22inch widescreen), OS, mouse, keyboard, speakers, plus all the other hardware. Cost me a little under $1200 total.

Yeah I just saw that, but doesnt it only read 3gb unless you change the settings in the bios?

That's the weird way. ;) It hides the 4th GB and preallocates it for other uses (like video memory).

I thought it was a memory limitation of 32bit.. like after 3.something gb, it can't keep track of anymore memory registers.

It's pretty darn close to 4gb, and individual programs can only access up to 2gb. That's why Vista hides everything above 3gb and uses it behind your back.
