Finding Legomyeggo...

Not many people know this but Neosqualll wasn't my very first character. I originally was an Elvaan Thief named Legomyeggo. Now, the name "Neosquall" is really starting to get to me. I honestly never really liked FF8, and I'm not into the Matrix, it just sounded like a decent name at the time. I thought I'd be stuck with this name forever until just recently, one of my good friends, formerly known as Flameass, had to change his name due to some prick.

I started coming up with ways I could somehow change my name. The following are two options I've come up with so far:

1) Get enough people to make GM calls and claim my name is a cheap sexual innuendo or something of the sort. This one probably won't work, but I'd rather try it than moving on to my next option.

2) Delete my Character and delete my orignal Elvaan char that still has my old name, Legomyeggo(which btw is what I want to change it into). Then, create another character named Neosquall. Get my original Neosquall restored, and since there will be another char named "Neosquall", I will be forced to change my name.

Now the reason I'm posting this is because I'd like to see if anybody else has any ideas on how to change my name, flaws in any of my plans, or if I should even take the risk of possibly getting my character deleted. Thanks in advance, *Hopes this topic doesn't die fast*.

I don't think first one will really work, unless we ca nthink of a way *HOW* it is sexual or something, but if we can think of something, I'm willing to report you ;P

Either way, I think #2 might be your best bet ^^; But then someone else should start a mule by the name Neosquall

There you go... native american tribe. You could say "Muerte a Neosquall" is Mexican-slang meaning "death to Nisqually", and naturally you find this very demeaning to your heritage.

unfortunately, I don't think that would work =/ Someone on killingifrit did that, and they just said they won't change names unless it's required (if it's racial, sexual, provoking etc.)

Yo Neosquall, just an FYI, unless a character has been COMPLETELY deleted, noone else can use that name. IE: i wanted my main character's name to be changed from "twille" to "thatoneguy" (one of my mules names.) So, i de-activated the Content ID for both Thatoneguy and Twille, and had a buddy create a new character and attempt to name the character Twille so that when i re-activiated twille, i could change the name. Unfortunately, the server wouldnt allow a second character named Twille, so the whole idea flopped, your best bet is to get a ton of people to bitch about your name being offensive in some wierd ass way.
