Firefly/Serenity

The show could have made much better ratings if Fox A. played the episodes in the right order. and B. had better time slots. and if you want to get really technical.. C. if it wasn't Fox.

They seem to have a thing for signing shows ( good shows) and then giving them them the boot. Poor Nathan Fillion. I believe that is the second or possibly 3rd show he's been in on Fox that got canceled.

It's true that the cast would love to get together and make more episodes, If they did I think it was going to be a pre-quell to the movie. Also something about them getting the funding for that, or for another movie if people buy the new special edition serenity movie.

Kaijin and I watch the series on a bi-weekly basis. theres always a firefly box sitting on the coffee table. lol

Firefly was a show I was slow to get into when it was first was on TV, but quickly enjoyed each episode that continued this tale. It ended too soon, I picked up the series on Dvd sometime after overjoyed to find several more episodes that never aired.

The film was great I felt it was a worthy if somewhat tragic conclusion to the series, I'd like to see it return in some capacity the idea was strong and the storys were some of the best Sci-fi on TV at the time.

There's a special edition of the movie out now? I'll have to check that out if theres more stuff added. :)

It has lots of bonus features on it and such. It's quite nice. ^^ I bought a few books and the special edition of Serenity last week.

BUMMMMMP! Rather than making a new post about it.

Anywho, I just decided to buy Firefly on dvd yesterday and watched the first dvd.

I saw Serenity in theaters when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I also bought Serenity on BluRay yesterday, which I plan to watch again once I finish the series.

After watching the first dvd, I'm really kind of suprised this show only had one season. The funny parts are like perfectly timed. The action is good and the characters are all very unique. Plus the style of the show is cool. Western feeling yet set in a futuristic universe.

It really is a shame it got cancelled so quickly.

I LOVED firefly, and serenity was awesome. It would be awesome if they bring it back but I'm not getting my hopes up.

for those that dont know tho, they have ALL 14 FULL episodes at Hulu FOR FREE!!!! http://www.hulu.com/firefly

<3 hulu great video and sound quality and there selection of shows/ movies is surprising.
