Found this on Alla, it seems pretty badass.

Good skillchain calculator. Input jobs and weapon, weapon level. Hit calculate and BAM, instant lists of the SC's you can do. No idea how complete it is, but I still think it's useful.

edit: Also tells you what magic element to burst with ;)

 That was my first thought.

I don't really need to know how much damage i'll do

I just do WS and don't really care how much damage lol, damaging mob is so random ><

Hexa Strike a Worker Crawler, can do from damage 140 to 890 at my level,

I did 300TP Hexa Strike once and did 100 damage on too weak worker crawler lol

Nice find Lecan =)

Oh, Hey Answa. Firefox, yeah sounds Evil but that doesn't say anything. Just run it under a virus scan.

Virus scanners don't pick up keyloggers. And Firefox is the name of the web browser, not the SC calculator.

Keylogger = records every keystroke you make.

I think. So basically they get all your passwords and if you buy stuff online your credit card numbers...maybe even business details if you store them on your PC.

So far I've seen no problems with it. And this came from a FFXI site, I just posted the link to the download directly, rather than linking the site and making you look for it yourselves.

As far as firefox thinking it's evil, make sure you check your Firefox options. If you have it enabled that it will block all software installation then it will look more evil than it may be.

Either way, download it or not, up to you. I'll let you know if all the sudden my shit's been robbed.

For the record though, it's not a calculator in the sense of damage... you put in the weapons and skill level and it calculates what skillchains you can do, and what will burst with it, and what weaponskills you need to use in what order to achieve said weaponskills.

I've had this and the FFXI clock plugin for a couple months now, and I've never had any problems with either of them so far. I haven't seen any unknown charges to my credit card or anything, so I think it's fairly safe.

The plug in is designed to help you pick out a skillchain, not calculate the damage you will do, since that's going to be almost impossible to predict. It's useful if you don't have a sc chart handy or if you're unfamiliar with skill chaining (ie. new player).

The clock plugin from this site is awesome. I've been using it for ages w/o any problems. People are too paranoid these days. FF freaks out because of the way he supplied the link. Just go to the site and grab it from there.

That link is exactly where the site sends you. So you'd only be wasting time by going there. But meh, details details.

I've had this for almost a year now.

I love it.

same, ive had both plugins for 6 or so months. No problems, clock is 1second off vanadiel time tho.
