I think this is for real, It's the first believable one I've seen so far.

He looks pretty wicked as far as the face goes lol, he better have a purple suit on at least once in the movie though or I'll be disappointed. Still a long way from the the movie though.

Oh yeah, and green hair. His hair HAS to be some shade of green.
 
I like how theyre bringing the batman movies back, and giving them their dark tone.

Batman can't live in a cheerful environment. Even the Animated Series had a subtle darkness to them. Lots of stone cold silence, very few(if any) one liners from anyone but The Joker.

I liked the animated series, and I think it was actually darker than the movies lol. But the movies had too many bad jokes in them... They looked like they tried to make them dark (and they kind of did) but nothing comparable to what seems to be coming from them now
 
I heared he's supposed to be played by the star of "A Knight's Tale" but i can't really tell if its him in that picture.

I actually hate the look. I'm sure many, many, many of you will disagree with me, but Jack Nicholson pulled off a great Joker. If Heath Ledger can do it with the same pizazz as Jackie Boy and Mark Hamil's voice in Batman TAS, I'd be surprised and very impressed.

Am I the only one who liked Micheal Keaton/Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns?

Agreed but personally i think Mark hamil in the animated series gives the best likeness to the character. I'll be happy so long as they don't make him just some eccentric puffed up psycho and do the part some justice with the dialogue. If they start selling these movies based on who's playing what part they're doomed much like most of the series' predecessors.
 
Mark Hamill rocked as Jokers voice. It's a shame he doesn't have the look to play him in a movie.
 
They should really just get a character that looks like the Joker and have Mark Hamill doing the voice :P that'd be SOOO much better
 
It's good to finally see a photo. I've been having the same conversation with Neyla every other week. He insists Heath Ledger isn't the Joker and I tell him to have a little faith. I like the makeup; it's crude and disturbing. He could be driving one of the cars in Twisted Metal: Black.

I loved Keaton as Batman. I thought the first two movies were great.

Batman begins was awesome, so hopefully this new one is even better.

I'm with Neyla on this one. I've never seen Heath do anything that would even hint at Joker in anything he's ever done. (That was so poorly worded, but you get what I'm saying.)
 
That's just it though. Heath Ledger totally becomes the characters he always plays. Watch, "A Knights Tale", "Monster Ball", "Brokeback Mountain" and a few others. You don't have to like those movies but Heath Ledger does his part well.


Nolan makes some good movies. He's gonna make a creepy film with this one. That Pic of the Joker proves it. After you watch it, I bet you appreciate the new Joker.
