First night at Fafnir? O_o

We were on the way to wiping; we didn't have enough healing power, plus some members were unprepared (none of the mages had enfeebling+ gear on them - most of us had gone literally from Ulli -> Arthro -> Fafnir without a pit stop, for example - so we couldn't Sleep it)... when Decidence tried to stall it with his Ninja awesomeness and give us time to recover, his Provoke wasn't working. JDA had stolen claim from us in the confusion. Gogo JPs and/or JP Wannabes! They were also curing us from outside - we forgot to put up /blockaid on the whole alliance - to screw us up, but luckily we didn't actually get Spike Flailed. Which is actually kinda odd.

Anyway, this just made the night perfect:

After getting Spike Flailed, JDA's last standing member /h'd the beast. Man... for all their gear and wealth, between Fafnir and Friday's Jormungand, they seem more like that aristocratic group that thinks they have all the power because they can throw money around like it's water, but when push comes to shove they PHAIL. lawl.

Anyway, the CFH Fafnir just made the night perfect... I didn't take any more screenshots after that but Fafnir stayed CFH for a good 15 minutes, chasing people down and eating them up.. and of course, nobody engaged it because they wanted the CFH status to go away. Finally after at least half of OuterHeaven wiped, as well as a few members of Serise's LS, and some others (Serise himself didn't die, though that would've been excellent.. .Serise actually managed to get the beast's attention and kite it around for several minutes while waiting for CFH to turn off), Kisada's crew (Kaizen), the only crew left standing in the whole room at that point, got the claim after CFH wore.

They took the bastard down successfully, and for getting initial claim (as well as probably feeling sorry for us having claim stolen by JDA before we wiped completely) they gave us the Balmung that dropped.

I wasn't questioning the CFH... I commented on JDA's conduct based on their wiping to Fafnir, not on their CFH.

lol this thread kinda reminds me of this which I read this morning. Well its a different Wyrm and a different circumstance but none the less an entire linkshell was jailed for CFH on Timait while others waited to claim it. Bet you didnt know you can be jailed for something so dumb eh? Well I didnt >.<

I thought I saw at least Cyronae and Prophecy go down... I dunno, I died off to one side and thought I saw a lot more people from OH go down.

Perhaps wipe wasn't the right word, then - more like merciless slaughter? Rofl.

I'll try to go thru each point you make and respond, all i ask is that you think logically when you read my post.


Point about us wiping cause we "suck"-
Actually Tagrineth we got MPK'd.
Genius hit a darter, one of our blms slept them, and someone outside the alliance cast diaga on them. 3 of the darters were claimed (by someone else) the entire time and sleeping them was impossible. we've handled Fafnir/Nidhogg along with darters on many occasions, but when someone diaga's them you cannot sleep them and take them down 1 by 1, in retaliation we called for help.

Point about us curing from the oustide-
You claim we were curing your alliance from the outside, I realize wiping to fafnir is heart breaking but please think logically before starting accusations. Please take a close look at your own screen shot. You see myself in the picture? Tanks are to stand rdy on its feet incase of a wipe, do you see a paladin? The reason I ask this is simple. On fafnir we tank with 2 wars and 1 or 2 nins, there were no paladins present, actually your at dragon's aery right now, take a look around you, because you will not find 1 JDA that is a paladin as we like to tank fafnir with wars and nins. Why is paladin so important to outside curing u might ask? If we were curing from outside with a mage and that mage got agro, fafnir can easily 1 shot that mage with double attack, curing from outside with anything but a paladin is pointless and just risks death of several by dragon's breath. As well you mention that you didnt get spike flailed which is odd, correct? If we were indeed curing your players why would fafnir chase down decidence from 1 end of the pit to the other end and not turn around and hit the person curing from the outside, therefore causing a spike flail? For those of u in Wrym101, Spike flail is caused when a wyrm turns it's head past a 45' angle in otherwords when the wyrm turns its body, the reason u stand on a wyrm's toes is to avoid it from turning around. You said it urself, decidence was kiting it around the pit, dont you think if we were curing ur members that it would have turned during the kite and spiked on you guys? Again please think logically. I'll give u another example of how a spike is caused. The reason you kite Vrtra isnt because vrtra hits hard its simply because when it summons skeletons and ghosts, it will turn around, and again when a wyrms turns and its tail is past the 45' angle it WILL and i mean it WILL flail. If we were curing from the outside 1. fafnir would have hit the person who was curing. 2. you would have been MPK'd via a spike flail.

As for Jorm-
We went to jorm, because a few of us were bored and wanted to try to take it down with 18, we ended up having 15 and failed at around 75% on the 2nd try. We've killed jorm on several occasions with 25~ (Our LS is one of 3 LSs on this server that have killed every single HNM except JoL and AV) we didnt laugh when u guys died at 99% with 35 (i know its 35 because i asked some of ur members, yes this JP wannabe has friends even in BOL), and infact if u ask ur Leaders i cheered ur LS on, saying give it another shot, that we'd be far in the background so we dont cause u lag. However, I do agree with you that my Linkshell is weak and no doubt we can improve and sooner or later taking down jorm with 18 will become a reality.

Dragon's Aery-
Its not unusual for new LSs (both JP or NA) to come to dragon's aery. However those new LSs need to realize something. When your tanks/mages go down, every LS there will spam voke and i mean EVERY linkshell will spam voke, why? I'm sure you can figure out but there is no /random law on this server (on some servers when an LS wipes the remaining LS's will /random for claim). We were given the order to spam when your 6th player went down, which was when fafnir was being kited. In case u didnt see, not only were JDA's players running after fafnir, every single linkshell was chasing fafnir for claim once bol finished wiping.

In closing-
As for this JP / JP wannabie bullshit. JDA is one of the few Linkshell on the server that is comprised of both NA as well as JP. For months I've kept quiet while racist comments were thrown our way, its actually ironic that some of you who insult myself as well as my LS have recently applied to my LS. JDA has both NA and JP officers, the LS itself is about 35 large, and amoung those 35, 12 are comprised of NA players. You think we are fanboys because we choose not to judge another by thier race? I implore u to apply to JDA by talking to Serise or Fygla (our co leaders) and see what they will tell you. They will tell you that I lead the NAs and that Ingwe, Jolin, and Rainer are the NA officers. If you want to hate JDA for its actions in the past please feel free to do so, JDA has MPK'd, we have stolen mobs and its something we as an LS are trying to put behind us (on many occasion i have appolgized to one of my best friends ingame who runs probably the best linkshell on this server which we MPK'd twice at dragon's Aery during the MPK days with Ailia's alliance), but our members are not wannabes, the LS communicates fine in both English and Japanese. As a linkshell we dont say "i was the first NA to get this or that" instead we look ahead and say "i was the first on the server to get this or that item". No doubt there are racist JP pricks on the server, but tell me this: Are there any NA pricks on the server who are equally racist?

no.. but very good point, however the reason why diaga'd mobs didnt chase the person who diaga'd them is because the second genius hit a darter our blms sleepga'd and as we all know sleep is far greater hate than dia, but this also explains why 3 of the darters became claimed by an outside source after we did sleepga.
