First thing you do when you have access to the expansion?

First explore the areas and complete the missions. Sadly, it will most likely be alone since my EU friends get it tomorrow... so I'll prolly do it with Dayner or something. After that I'll prolly lvl Dancer or SCH.
 
First FIRST thing I'm gonna do is listen to the new menu screen music. It sound epic on the tour, but I wanna listen to the full thing.
THEN I'm gonna explore solo.
(btw, will Fort K[tab] be connected to the citidel? I remember that there was a tunnel from the citidel to windurst, but is that it?)
 
Exactly What I did last expansion.

Wait for everyone else to do all the reconnaissance work, and mess around solo.
 
When I got Sky, I duo explored but my friend was a dipshit so I'mma count it as solo explore.
When I got Sea, I solo explored.
When I got ToAU, I solo explored(and died A LOT)
When I get this expansion I will solo explore.
 
This is what I do whenever there's a new city or some place with NPCs to talk to. I get to the city/town, and yes, I talk to every single NPC as possible that I come to... This is probably weird, and it does usually take over an hour or two hours, but then I get familiar with the NPCs location if I happen to remember later, and at the same time I get a lot of quests/missions activated and also the new job quests activated.

Then I'll probably unlock the new jobs, explore the other area maps for a while, maybe solo or with a friend if anyone is free, and enjoy the new content, then for the time being I'll just lvl Sch and Dnc to 10 to check them out a little, and go back to doing something else afterwards.

i'll lv my other main jobs since there will be a shitton of lower level exp pts for them to get a free ride on~
 
How about just unlocking the jobs?
 
I wont be getting it until at least Saturday. I'm hoping by then it'll be known who to talk to, to start the missions.
 
Well.. the last expansion I spent my time going to various ex NM that everyone was ignoring and that were wandering around freely with everyone else preoccupied with the expansion.
Since not spamming the missions as soon as they went out held me back slightly with tau progression i'm actually going to do them right away and follow the bandwagon this time.

When I get home I will probably explore and try and do some missions first. I love the feeling of exploring new content in this game more than anything else.
