What's invalid, is the general attitude that fishbotting is ok just because the effect it has on you are indirect and therefore you decide not to see tham.
You could say fishbotting and selling to NPC has the same affect as zeroxing dollar bills in your basement.
Well, there really isn't much you can -do- about a fishbot. Look at the gil sellers thread, I thought Pascal had a very solid and informed post there on how you -could- stop the fishbotters selling to the AH, but then again, where there's money to be made, and there is virtue to be had in light of making less money, almost all people will chose the money over virtue, especially if they're anonymous and unaccountable for their actions (ie: Internet, on a MMORPG).
So botting will never stop as long as Square Enix permits it. And lets be real: They're not stopping it any time soon, because it's too much trouble for them, apparently. I don't care, I'm completely apathetic about the whole situation... there's not much you can do about THAT, is there? :?
You obviously didnt get my point, jackass.
Such hostility.
And if you're not prepared to talk about the topic, why even post here? Just skip over reading it, just how I'm treating any thread you start because I'm sure it will be devoid of anything useful at all.
Telling people under the topic of fishbotting NOT to talk about fishbotting is like rushing into a sports radio show in studio and telling them to switch the subject to Bea Arthur. Not happening bub.
